The chemistry between Allison and Robert is incredible. I love this album and it's followup Raise the Roof. AWESOME!!!

@@jadefire2817 hes a real player though typically brit fella who knows when to turn charm up way higher than most and he's got in spades!! he played in Tenbury wells my local town a couple of weeks ago at the regal theatre it sold out in minutes- literally and was just brilliant.

I'm a Zep fan since 69" and since he collaborated with Allison Krauss,, I really dig this. T-bone Burnett is a added addition of fusion.

As a life long music lover, Raising Sand struck me like no other collaboration ever had. I absolutely loved the music, and am anxiously waiting for my copy of Raise the Roof!

They all three seems so happy, relax and lucky to be together Alison is a gifted comedian

T_Bone understands Music as an emotional experience not just $$$. The $$$ will come, it is all about these great artist handle it.

I grew up with Led Zeppelin, and so many of the great rock bands of that era . . . but also Ricky Skaggs, Allison Krause, and New Grass Revival. Loving this collaboration. Just incredible.

RP : "What a way to retire..." and going strong 15 years later ! AK : "the contrast between our voices tells a real story" ..such an understatement.

What I wouldn’t give to be in the same room as Alison Krause and Sir Robert Plant just as a human…what great energy🎉 it’s a high that my soul would float upon until the end.❤

Wish there was still a show like this around…

He seems so happy with her as a singing partner. It is a beautiful collaboration.

When Raising Sand came out I was in the record store to buy something else. "Gone" started playing over the house speakers. I went up to the counter and bought the CD on the spot. Not a bad song on it. Love that Allison was doing so much different music.

A throwback to the great days of Countrypolitan. This is one of those fortuitous unions of not just talented people, but with a chemistry such that you feel like they're a family. Alison teasing RP about his accent is priceless, and for his part he seems to bask in the comforting humor. Special people, these three...

I met Alison Krauss here in Jacksonville Florida. She step out from the Florida Theatre she told a photographer "Let me check on my baby" She saw me and she signed my cassette and she was a darling.

That saying "the cream rises to the top" seems fitting, stars in the industry without ever crossing paths, but T Bone is the visionary and the only producer/mad scientist who could pull this collaboration off. Well done indeed.

Thank you for posting this. Pieces of it have been posted before and they seem to disappear. If you're seriously interested in it, better rip it to hard-drive before YT gets around to deleting it. Above all else, this interview tends to confirm what just about every commenter on YT says about Alison who has ever actually met her: That she is one of the nicest, most genuine persons you'd ever want to meet; someone without a bit of pretense who has not lost their humility to celebrity.

Unlikely trio, all enormously talented, UNBELIEVABLE outcome.

So nice to actually see folks in music that respect and love each other. No need to dis anyone to prove your point and the discussion was very funny and enlightening. I guess "no walls" is how I would put it. What music is supposed to be, but so often falls short of being.

I love Robert Plant ❤ last time I saw him he was at the Château Marmont in Califa and he was very young.

What a Truly Excellent interview !

Caught them last month at The Starlight outdoor theater in KC about a month ago. I still feel it.

I like how when it buffers it doesn't circle their faces❤

During the discussion of the album title I guess I was a little surprised that no one mentioned Jimi singin' "...might even raise a little sand!" in "Voodoo Chile (Slight Return). Also, The Who used to perform "Fortune Teller" quite regularly on tour.

This is such a great song , which they wrote moresongs like that great song...
