I just love how complimentary Jamie Bell is without making Robert Pattinson feel awkward. Also love how RP responds honestly, he seems very much like a normal guy, no sense of pretentiousness at all. Love him!

Tarintino and Nolan Scroscese and Spike Lee Safdie Brothers and Russo Brothers(optional but why not) Kevin Smith and Zack Snyder(both geeks so it could really be interesting and with the snyder cut coming would be super interesting to hear more on the process Kevin has also done films so they can explore each others genres) James Cameron and Matt Reeves Etc

His publicist makes interviewers sign a contract that they can’t mention Twilight because it takes away from the current promotion. Even though they’re friends here and he probably wouldn’t bring it up out of courtesy, the production had to sign one. Major talks shows and Howard Stern wouldn’t sign one for obvious reasons. It was probably Rob’s idea to create this contract 😂

I love interviews where Rob is comfortable, & feels like he can be himself to talk. He has built an amazing career for himself. His future is so damn bright. Congratulations, Rob! I am extremely proud of the path you're on.

100%. the one with jennifer was weird imo. They weren't on the same "wavelength". She didn't really seem all that willing or interested in actually listening to him whereas Jamie at least reciprocated Rob's interest in him and his answers.

It's more because they're friends. Even in the Actors on Actors with J-Lo he's just nervous and making jokes to ease it. It's good when he's comfy.

RP seems like he is anything but “ordinary”, but he does also seem utterly unpretentious and unaffected, down-to-earth, and real. So charming♥️♥️♥️

Jamie Bell is amazing in all his work. In my opinion, he's super underrated. Such an exceptional actor who is not afraid to take a back seat to a so called lead if the character brings something substantial to a film. He gets better with each project he chooses and does.

I agree. It's around the mouth and their height. I suppose they have the same intensity about them. Are they the top too achieving Billy's.

I like the direction Robert decided to take his career in. He's a very talented actor and I don't believe that his acting comes to its full potential when there is proper "blockbuster" hype and pressure that comes along with it. Know of Jamie by name, but haven't seen a lot of his work yet. That'll change :)

EJ386 Nicholas Nickleby! What should be an unplayable role in our day & age (literally a Dickensian orphan), Jamie apparently had the filmmakers in tears during his audition. And he is truly heartbreaking in the film, he doesn't shy away from his character's tragedy nor humanity. He and Charlie Hunnam are wonderful together. But I'm biased, 1 of my favourite movies. All star cast, colourful production, great dialogue & humour. Where else can you see Nathan Lane & Dame Edna as married theatrical empresarios ("The pony drank!")? Or Charlie Hunnam playing Romeo? In green tights?! EVIL Christopher Plummer!

Inspiring to hear these two talk. Listening to Robert say "he has no life" outside of acting is beautiful. Commited actors, careful with their craft and always moving forward with passion and integrity. Incredible incentives.

I love how comfortable they both are with each other. This interview is very good. I’ve never seen Rob so laid back and really comfortable like he is here I love it.

I grew up with these 2 brilliant actors, Jamie in Billy Elliot and Robert in the potter/twilight films. Very proud of what they've accomplished since then and hope they get more good work. Thanks for this Variety!

This is such a wholesome interview! It's nice to see this segment when the actors actually know each other, they look really comfortable together, the humors are genuine. Jamie has an eloquent way of speaking. They're both really down to earth. I also love how they never mentioned Twilight by its name and only mentioning it as "franchise" "doing sequels" "commercial success" hahahah

These are two young men who've got so much talent it's astonishing. I don't know if it's a British thing, but we tend not to take ourselves so seriously, that's why I believe so many British actors who don't stress like their American counterparts, bring such humanity to their respective parts. Pattinson and Bell had fun doing this interview, and it was intelligent dialogue all the way through, it just wasn't forced, that's why this was a fantastic pairing. *Billy Elliot* Far out..Awesome :)

Really hoping Good Time doesn't get left on the bleachers during Oscar season -- it more than deserves multiple nominations in multiple categories.

It was recommended that I watch this, because I love Actor Roundtables but cannot STAND Galloway. And boy I’m glad I did. This is incredibly refreshing, wonderful flow & fantastic, genuine conversation. Jamie & Robert are both so underrated. LOVE THIS!!! 🙌🏻💗

Great insight added by Mr. Pattinson on the preparation psychologically regarding costumes (what one wears) and environment. Thank you for sharing. Would be an interesting study to see to which degree it impacts performance and stress.

It's obviously changed to a northern English \stage acting\North of turtle Island(the first Nations call the land that they cared deeply about that name ,then Europeans came!!!!!! and called it USA ) accent, a northern English accent wouldn't have the other changes
