@@archangelarielle262 Don't argue with half baked info, he said he knew he was detective but never knew he was "world's greatest detective" as that part was missing from any other live action versions of batman. And this was before he got the role of batman, he read a lot of comics for the preparation of the role and also said the detective aspect of batman was never properly shown in the movies.

@@hamishwilson9787 The advantage for Robert is he is very younger than Ben Affleck. So, Robert grew up watching one the greatest version of Batman outside comics, Batman the animated series. When BTAS run, ben was already a adult, so he didn't watch BTAS mainly because it is cartoon. But we know what BTAS is, Robert was kid at that time, he grew up watching both Batman 66 rerun and BTAS. He grew up watch two different versions of Batman content.

Pattison is the first Batman actor who didn't despise his suit. I remember Val Kilmer saying being Batman felt like being 80 years old. You can't hear anyone, can barely move, need help getting dressed and have a hard time standing up and sitting down. While Keaton also hated the heat, stiff movements and weight. Bale said his suit helped him become angry and enraged because he hated it so much. Apparently Pattison wore the thing all the time and apparently even composed music in the damn thing in his tent when they weren't filming..lmao. The more Pattison does interviews for The Batman..the more I like him.

@@MaxIronsThird I do remember Ben saying the suit was better than the previous ones...though apparently the suit is the reason he didn't want to direct the solo Batman film. He realized he would be wearing it all the time, even while doing director duties and apparently it played a role In him opting out. Even with the cooling tech and such..it was still a pain in the ass to wear all day.

The way he's describing it, it sounds like they really went ahead and created a fully functional Batman suit, which is by itself pretty cool.

I like that they've finally ditched the rubber and brought in some materials that at least don't look like rubber. The cowl is pretty perfect, it even brings in a nod to the 60's tv show with the nose.

Robert Pattinson is a great pick for the role, because before all of this and after he cashed out money from those twilight movies he proved himself as a versatile actor in indie movies and some mid budget movies so he has had experienced a lot of things in the business

He's so happy about being Batman. He was great too and I can't wait to see his character development and progression as Batman.

4:15 - Don't worry, Rob. Your "eye acting" is on point, whether you realize it or not. - I think that's something most people don't realize, and it occurred to me only after the movie as well, that he "said" so much with his eyes. That might sound pretentious, but it's true. They really kept the amount of dialogue for him down, but the way he performed just "looks", combined with how they shot him, just really made him "speak volumes" as it were. They never really captured Batman like that, save for some moments in possibly every movie, as mostly they just performed him very stoic with rather stark eyes or expressions. - But Pattinson, whether it was intentional or not, managed to do it through his eyes and the holes of the cowl, almost like the cartoons had to animate the eyes a lot of the time.

You know this movie and Pattinson's rendition is good because everyone is talking about both of those things and not ONE person has mentioned the man's hairdo!! Seriously, how TF is that staying the way it is?? Mans got a piece of art on his head. Truly majestic.

Imagine how weird it looks, with him talking with his normal accent while wearing the batsuit.

Robert Pattenson just seems like a chill guy. I know nothing about other stuff he's done except Harry Potter, so it was pretty cool to see him in Batman. He did a great job!

Robert Pattinson has always been my favorite actor I believe he'll be the best Batman

I loved this movie so much. I had to make a review of it just to talk about all the minor details since none of my friends had watched it yet. You can tell a lot of love went into this movie. 😄

I was hyped for the suit the moment theory came out saying the logo might be Joe Chill's gun that was used to kill his parents. Just little details like that from the comics that I love

Saw it last night, amazing portrayal by all cast members! Can’t wait to see what Matt Reeves has next up his sleeve.

One of the things I love most about this movie is that there is apparently very little Bruce Wayne and is mostly about Batman only. In the past I have found the most boring parts of Batman movies to be the cheesy / hokey Bruce predominant scenes (thinking more Batman begins, or worse the Kilmer / Clooney versions). Generally though the Bruce / Alfred scenes of the dark knight / Rises provided humour and heart, but less is more when it comes to Bruce IMHO.

I’ve heard complaints about that though that it made Batman too 1-dimensional, since Bruce and Batman don’t feel different. They’re just the same broody guy. I can’t say for myself as I haven’t see it yet. Still stoked though.

@@bugs1285 as Rob explained in an interview. Batman is supposed to be the true Bruce Wayne. What Bruce wants to actually be and say. So of course they're going to feel the same. Batman is Bruce Wayne after all. Plus this is a different take. Different portrayal. That's why this Bruce is more dark and broody.

I love how the movie respects the audience where when Batman doesn’t know something he just stands there silently and Robert Pattinson portrays the little hamster wheel in Batman’s brain going into overdrive.

Say what you want about Marvel and their characters but no one quite does combat like DC with Batman.

He would be a great James bond

Battinson's and Bale's DK suit are the most practical compared to the rest, no neck stiffs, no CGI and they can be filmed in some action scenes.

One thing that lost me was when he used his bat symbol as a sort of cutting knife to cut the wires or rope but never used it for anything else. My first thought was that he would use it as a little reusable batarang since we didn't really get to see him use it throughout the film.

Battinson is going to go down as the best BATSY

Pattinson's hair looks like he started to brush it to the right but then he changed minds midway and then hurriedly brushed it to the left

I don't know why people were so worried because this was "the Twilight guy." Let's be real. His acting was the only good thing about those movies. After seeing him in The King, Tenet, and The Lighthouse. When I heard he was cast, I was both stoked and relieved. Finally I thought, someone who can get it right.

Loved Pattinson’s Batsuit accept for the mask! It looked bad around the nose.. Imo Affleck’s suit had the best mask. Besides that, it gives off Arkham vibes!

Christian Bale also auditioned in George Clooney's Batsuit. There are clips of it.

Hmm... in some of those photoshoot shots with Zoe Kravitz, I saw a real John Constantine (Hellblazer) quality to Pattinson. If only, two birds with one stone...

For the next Batman film, they need to include a screen like in Arkham Knight, and a better arsenal of weapons. We see Bruce hasn't really developed new weapons for his crime-fighting, so I think they're gonna need to introduce Lucius Fox here.

@@kyledavid Reminds me of a torture chain sexual type of stuff that erotic type of shit that’s what it reminds me of and then when he’s interrogating someone from behind the glass and he bangs on it and he screams something out- I really found that terrible execution in how he looked doing it,sounding out loud, all of it. the stitching on the costume, it just made it seem awful. His face his jawline it just doesn’t go with the idea of what Bruce/Bat’s would be. The beauty mark on Aflex face threw me off but his performance, portrayal, choreography, how he sounded, the costume everything was on spot! I watch glitter boy when it comes on HBO

Robert Pattinson is the god of attractiveness.

Nothing against this movie, but all the core Batman fans are feeling a shockwaves of the cultural changes, a very hardly established dark Knight trilogy met by a Superman quad saga. Batman kills versus Batman not killing is shaken, and now we go into a potential character study. I hope this establishes something strong for the future akin to Kevin Conroy Batman animated series in 20 years of success
