Not surprising, it was only a 125cc or something. I've had to chase down a guy on a similar bike before and I pulled it off (the kid had left his wallet behind). Had Connor been riding a 250cc or 450cc he'd get away in no time and there never would have been a chase scene leaving the T800 and T1000 back at square one, probably staking out his Foster parents home and keeping an ear out for reports of the missing minor. Wouldn't have made for a good action movie really if Arnie didn't have to save him from being run down by the Truck.

+DZEMAG Good thing I never saw the movie when I was younger (it's rated R for a reason), else I suspect the same would have happened. Speaking of which, whose bright idea was it for the last two Terminator films to be rated PG-13 instead of R? Just because a PG-13 rating works well for stuff like Jurassic Park and Lord of the Rings doesn't mean it works for all genre fiction! Of course I know why, it's because PG-13 rated movies are generally much more profitable than R rated films (though perhaps Deadpool will change that). Not to mention the typical demographic for the kind of movie Terminator is nowadays is probably more suited to a PG-13 rating than an R rating...which doesn't mean that the series itself is better without an R rating! Stupid commercial needs. We literally live in a world where the highest-grossing Die Hard and Robocop films are PG-13 rated, even though both those franchises NEED R ratings. Heck, R-rated action films have largely bombed the past few years (The Expendables 3, The Last Stand, Escape Plan, Bullet to the Head, A Good Day to Die Hard), while most science fiction films nowadays are PG-13 (I know for sure The Martian, The Force Awakens, and Jurassic World were all PG-13 rated, and I'd be surprised if Ex Machina wasn't as well). To executives, an R-rated Terminator movie would seem like nothing more than a massive money sink. Heck, the PG-13 rated Terminator: Genisys was more profitable than the R-rated Mad Max: Fury Road, especially baffling considering the former's 26% on RT vs. the latter's 97% and six Oscar wins. In fairness though Genisys is the only American movie to make over $400 million at the box office without even reaching the $100 million mark in the States. It probably helped that Genisys made lots of money in China while Fury Road didn't even play there. So yeah, the first two Terminator movies (I'd be tempted to say the only good ones, but even though I thought 3 was boring I haven't seen 4 and 5 so whatevs) simply would not be made today. On the other side of the token, no chance of a PG-rated movie like Close Encounters of the Third Kind or Back to the Future being such a big hit nowadays. Honestly for me that's one of the main appeals of classic cinema - a lot of movies released even as late as the '90s simply wouldn't be made today. In particular the science fiction films of the '80s feel like they are visionary in a way that later ones can only dream of.
