I was 15 entering 1980, partied through the 80s, met my wife to be, married her in 1989 at age 25 ..... Amazing times.... so different, Glad to say I lived and loved them.

Hi , i was born in 1988 and I feel as I were there . I know now that my parents used to put earphones on me when I was just 5 months in the belly of my mom, after that they continued to put earphones on me with all this music 🎶 🎵....wonderful.. Da war ich 16 Jahre alt. Ich verdiente mir etwas Taschengeld als Discjockey in einer kleinen Diskothek. Es war ein sehr schönes Gefühl, wie die Leute nach meiner Musik tanzten. Die 80! Da waren wir noch Jugendliche ohne Digitalwahn und andere Dinge die uns heute total kaputt machen. Es war die schönste Zeit in meinem Leben.

What a great decade to be a teenager / young adult. Personally i grew up in Australia, but the 80's magic was global. You know how magical it was because the sentiment is exactly the same no matter where you are from around the world. Watching these videos brings back some wonderful memories, and a sly smile!

Born in '79 with an 7 year older sister. So I got into the vibe and sound of the whole 80's. The tv series (still into them and especially Miami Vice) and the movies and their soundtracks....Best decade ever!

I was born in 1985, and I can't not stop listening to this song, It reminds me of new order, so new wave or retro wave ....

Everybody in that venue had their own unique style that represented their personalities, you don't get that kind of comfortable independent thinking anymore. And I was born in the early '90s.

Yes, this was really it. Although, I must admit I turned 17 in 1990 so I guess too early to the party... By the time I got to a proper dance-floor/club, techno was really starting to hit hard. And grunge. But in the 80s, you could be anybody and disappear in the music. Just check how creative these party-goers are (clothing, hairstyles) and unashamed, today, you would be laughed at! These are MY party people.

Je voudrais les rejoindre sur la piste et oublier tout ce qui aujourd'hui pourrit notre vie. Je ne dis pas que les années 80' étaient sans soucis, loin de là mais je m'y sentais personnellement plus libre (même si j'étais très jeune, encore gamin), plus insouciant. Le look, les blagues qu'on pouvait encore faire sans risquer un procès, les vestes en jean, les badges, notre vie qui ne se réalisait pas derrière un écran.. Et je reste très attaché à ces sons...

Takes me back to the dry bar scene back in 86, 87 and part of 88. Pure social outlet without any need for cellphones, or social media although the Commodore and Amiga was my tech escape back then. Seeing these faces brings back memories of girls I would meet back in the day. Met my wife at one of these dry bars and still going strong today !! Pure bliss !! Yes .. three years of pure ignorance and bliss as a result.LOL

I was a bit too young (7 in '85) to fully enjoy the 80's but as far as I remember, these were great times!!!!

Back when you could be out on the dance floor and actually have a cigarette in your hand, God I miss the 80s!

This is the generation I was supposed to be apart of.
