As much as I miss Robert Palmer I miss the time when this song was on the charts. It's hard to capture just how good it felt to have this feeling in the air. I know people go overboard with the 80's nostalgia, but really, songs like this make you understand why it's so prevalent. It was just a great time to grow up.

This song is very far from my normal music style ( i am a goth/ punk ) , BUT , there has always been , and still is something about this melody , the lyrics , and Roberts voice ,that i love and makes me sad , and i remember when i was 15 in 1980 , and heard this song for the first time , i was thinking : I should not like this melody , but i love it - I remember it so clearly. and the lyrics is not so simple and sugar sweet as many people think , actually there is a lot of symbolic , and the lyrics can be interpreted in many ways , and Robert's voice - i love it .It sounds so fragile ( in a good way ), because of his rapid vibrato , and his voice is also something that makes me sad , because it reminds me of the fragile part of myself , but something that makes me smile and sometimes laugh is when he sings : She said that he change his mind more than a woman - and it is true - women change their minds a lot ( yes i am a woman , but i am ALMOST a male chauvinist ( at some points) , because i know that "we" women are strange and exhausting , hard to please , too curious when it gets to what our partner think , sneaky , and back stabbers , and so on , and that is why 99,5 % of my friends are men , and the 90 % of these male friends are homosexual ). Another thing about the visual part is , that Robert palmer looks so calm and down to earth and kind , and i have been reading that he was a very quiet man , who didn't like to be in the " spotlight" , and i think that i can see that in this video ,and other videos he made .😢😢 R.I.P dear Robert , you did not deserve to die so young .😢
