    Everyone realized they’re on roids. But they’re the best of the people who are on them. To reach a body weight of 400+ pounds with a still high muscle ratio takes ridiculous amount of exogenous hormones as well as intense training.

    I throw shot put and I’m going into high school and I threw 50 feet with the 4kg ball but now with the 12 pound my best is about 37 with a lot of technique and momentum, these guys are just standing still throwing it that far, that’s crazy also with more than double the weight

    Gluttony isn't impressive. Performance relative to provision is the only thing impressive. Doing great things when you don't necessarily have everything together is more impressive than having full stomachs and roided muscles and doing something you do everyday because its your "job".

    North American men's record with the Braemar stone is 47' . This year my best is 24' 10" I'm 6'1" 205 . This was Dinnie's record from 1890s not a world record throw. Typical history channel hype

    Not the current one. Just Dinnie's record that used to be a world record. The current record was set in the year 2000 (for the 28 lbs stone).

    My friend Scott Rider usually wins this -I used to coach him shot putt and he won the world champs highland games at Braemar - but what a beautiful setting it is. Also, I love the relationships these guys have throughout the series - I could watch them all day - Lets do another one!!

    I don't like that they didn't recognize the Robert didn't actually beat Dinnie's record, he beat Brian's record, he held the world record for about 1 minute and that's the one he beat lol

    @@iToldYoui well no he had a higher score than donald dinnie but at the time that Robert threw it dinnie didn't hold the record, Brian Shaw did because he went before robert so that's the record he beat. If someone named tom has the world record for most consecutive pushups at 10,000 and then billy does 10,500 and wins the record and then I do 11,000 I now hold billys record, not toms, cause he was the one with the highest score before me

    @@krspypatriot3545 holding a record isn't the same as beating someone's record. He beat Dinnie's furthest throw (his record highest) and Brian's furthest throw (his record highest). Technically every new record beats every pervious person's records. The latest of which is THE record

    I wonder how far shot put olympic athletes would throw this. It's way heavier than their stone (16 vs 28 lbs) but they obviously have superior technique and speed.
