You learned to give more to Robert Morris so he can pay the heat bill in his huge mansion and gas up his fleet of cars. You want to make Jesus happy? Go find a poor widow and buy her a month worth of groceries or pay a doctor bill for her. Not by giving a minimum of 10% to some millionaire "tv pastor". Nowhere in the new testament is the tithe mentioned, let alone commanded. The apostle Paul simply said to give based on your heart and attitude, not some %. Funny, it's always the millionaire tv pastors telling you how much to give. Think about it.

Could u please preach on the roots of the church… and what it means to be the people of the church? I was raised in the wilderness and when there was a church… the plaster would never last long… and when I had gone out into the world… it was so hard for me to fit in… and I was ran out of the church…. And I didn’t have to do anything… But I have a need to understand what the church is… I was always touch that we are the body of Christ… witch is the church.
I have a feeling that tithe will be coming up. Just a feeling.

@@afiblossom5590 The point is that men like this try to indoctrinate the old Jewish mandate message of the tithe, when it doesn't apply to new covenant Christians.
On the topic of tithing, is it exactly 10%, nearest dollar to 10%, or something else? I've been trying to figure out how much it'd be based on my income, but it's hard to divide 5 cents by 10 and have it come out as a flat number.

Wait a minute, something sounds wrong here . On mark 19;10, you state that the last annointing Jesus received before his death was from Mary. Pls note that John of Arimethea and Nicodemus asked for Jesus body and washed Jesus body in accordance with Jewish burial customs (see John 19-38-42) …hence Mary was not the last one to anoint Jesus with oil

No He doesn't, He is filled with Love and mercy, God dislikes sin and when the Holy Spirt convicts us of sin, it is then that we feel that God is displeased with us(due to sin being brought into the light) and we feel as though He dislikes us. The Holy Spirit comes to convict the world of sin, as we were born into a sinful world. When we surrender ourselves to God, in surrendering our lives we open ourselves up to allow God to correct the sin in our lives, in the same way that a father will correct a child doing something they shouldn't. God LOVES 100 percent and I pray that we may experience the love of the Father in our lives above our desire to have our way.
People are not required to tithe and they should not be giving money to wolves
More mumbo jumbo from a "prosperity preacher". No ulterior motives here, right? The verses in Malachi that this guy always mentions are from the old covenant and taken totally out of context. There is a new standard in the New Testament, one of willingness, and out of love. There is no % attached to it. It is simply as each determines in their own heart. See 2 Corinthians 9:7.

The early Church gave their all. If you can't give 10% how can you give your all? By faith we are children of Abraham. You want the blessings of Abraham without doing the works of Abraham. How selfish! Jesus never condemned tithing in the new testament. Yes, He said that there are weightier matters. That's not condemnation.
