Big shot Rob that fits perfectly for this man. He saved the Lakers so many times that he should definitely be in the Hall of Fame of NBA if he isn't already I was fortunate enough to watch the Lakers and their prime the 90s and 2000s. We would be nothing with that Robert thank you again man for everything great memory great times and great basketball
All I know is when Robert made that shot against Sacramento, I went berserk in my family room. I watched the game with an avid Kings fan who had been on me all game long. That was sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!!!!!!!
One of my favorite Lakers of all time: Robert Horry
THE 2002 NBA PLAYOFFS WAS THE ROBERT HORRY'S GREATEST HITS TOUR CONTINUES BECAUSE HE HIT SO MANY TIMELY & CLUTCH SHOTS. AS A MATTER OF FACT THE WHOLE 3-PEAT WAS THAT WAY.
Horry’s shot against Sacramento is my favorite Laker buzzer beater. People were running around in neighborhood streets immediately afterwards. The euphoria was incredible. Big Shot Bob! Thanks for the memories!

As a 40 year Laker fan Robert Horry talks with authority and everything he says is spot on. I hope Lebrun was taking notes.

I alwasy thought it was kind of an ironic moment actually. Horry played a lot of PF/SF, and with the whole Kings team under the basketball, usually you expect your big guys to be underthere trying to rebound haha. So in my mind, it was a game winning shot that really shouldn't have happened if Horry actually played his position :) But boy, am I glad it did happen :)
The play is that we ran is called what the f ha ha ha the heck hah
I love My Lakers 🥰💜💛💜💛💜💛💜💛and l miss My Kobe 😘💛💜💛💜💛💜💛💜 happy heavenly birthday Kobe 8/23/23😘
thank you Rob
I remember this day we were at my brothers house all of my family mom dad brother nephews nieces all of us laker fans and when Robert Horry made that shot we all started jumping high five 🖐 ing each other.
Horry got some early dementia kicking in? Don't recall the Lakers blowing out the Kings in game 6, I remember the Kings having a 2 point lead with about 4 minutes to go in the 4th quarter, Webber in the low post took one dribble & swished a jump hook as Horry was floppin' & the refs bailed him out...one of the biggest calls that game IMO.
THE 2000/ 2001/ 2002 LOS ANGELES LAKERS ARE THE LAST TEAM TO 3-PEAT!!! SHAQ, KOBE, FISHER, FOX, HORRY, SHAW, HARPER, GRANT, WALKER, MEDVEDENKO, MADSEN, RICE, SALLEY, GREEN, RIDER, LUE, &, MANY MORE!!! WITH THE GREATEST HEAD COACH IN NBA HISTORY!!! THE ZEN MASTER PHIL JACKSON & HIS STAFF!!!
What so great about that shot is you see Phil actually show emotion. He always wanted to trade Horry and always felt he wasn't a great fit for the lakers. For him to show emotion like that for Horry is wholesome

Robert showed Phil Jackson Don't mess with me cuz I'm the best you got besides Kobe and Shaq. Robert proved himself time and time and time again about time Phil Jackson faces himself about being wrong
The Lakers are the last team to 3-Peat.
Big Shot Bob 5 🟡🟣🏀🏆🏆🏆👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽.
Yeah but Robert, did you know that a nobody band called Grand Incredible wrote a song about your game winner called Robert Horry Saves the Day and it was amazing?
I often wondered why Phil Jackson didn't change or twink the triangle knowing Scottie Pippen was on the Portland team.
I’m a diehard NBA fan and I believe MJ is the GOAT, but what Shaq did in 1999-2000 was the greatest player I ever watched. When I say he was being tripled team consistently I mean it and he carried players to the rim. Kobe was an all star caliber player, but didn’t become a legit star till the following season. Shaq was a 30/14/4/3 on 60% shooting and was a monster in the paint defensively. In the playoffs, he upped his game and then in the greatest NBA finals performance of all time Shaq almost avg 40/20 for the entire series. Shaq had to carry that team and he did so even with a better Pacers team and Kobe being a HUGE liability 12-47 shooting in last two close out games combined. After that season the league changed the game bringing in defensive 3sec and allowing front court players to play zone all because of Shaq. He is a big reason why the game is played the way it is today.
We get it, that Portland 00' series was better than the Kings 02' series lmao geez

Lakers lost to the spurs trying to get the 4th title in a row...and Horry wasn’t on the Lakers when they lost against the pistons...so why would he talk about losing to the pistons if he wasn’t even on the Lakers that year?....oh I see your a casual

The 4-peat was 2003 against the Spurs in the second round. HORRY'S 3 at the buzzer in game 5# went in & out!!! & The Lakers lost. If that shot went in the Lakers would have won 4 in a row.
Los Angeles Lakers The Last Team to 3-Peat
5:39 wait a minute, Robert did you just say "and then we come back home and blow them out"? You take that back! You needed an infamously bad call and a host of other less infamous bad calls just to survive game 6!
Lol man the Kings had y’all beat.Kings had them beat
