I don't think so, but I'm not his MD. Could it be he speaks the truth about what's happening in the US political scene? I believe too many people don't speak up enough. Especially when it comes to dangerous ideas, or events that hurt people. We need help in this world and he is doing his part. He's older and has seen a lot. He is fed up, sad, mad, disappointed in opportunist, unkindness, stupidity etc., etc. Many people are, and he is definitely not alone. There are real dangerous things happening, these opinions are his, but I for one appreciate them; but also, because he is a great artist, and in the public eye. Outstanding actor. As a person, I don't care for much of what I have seen and heard. But I don't know him, so that is probably not really fair.

I’m going to have to give him props for speaking his truth about Mr. Trump, leaving himself open to death threats and the like. He has a right to be grumpy, tired, unfriendly, in the face of two divorces and suffering a horribly tragic loss of a child. Dinero is a national treasure and faces life without fear and apology.

I can relate to getting grumpy with fools... Esp relating to the assistant who sued him - i immediately feel like his actions were totally understandable, even if they're not considered appropriate these days.... In this current climate im' sure MANY ppl would jump on his court room behavior or how he 'treated' his assistant, but i can't really agree... If you take the job of 'Deniro's Assistant'😮 (and believe me, they would have discussed what that means and entails, at length and probably even had a contract!) & if both parties do this step earnestly, then she has _no reason or right to spit the dummy afterwards!..._ Some ppl want assistants to do _all sorts of things_ and can pay _a LOT_ of $$$ to _make up for the trouble!_ If you earn over a million$/year (for example! - i have NO idea what she was paid), then, 'scratching your bosses back' isn't a big deal!!! Nor is having them call at all hours etc!...For a MILLION bucks, i'd be at someone's beck n call!!! It's her _choice._ If she didn't like it, she could have quit!...I don't understand this American obsession with suing ppl!! So gross! Clearly, it would be a job for someone in their 20s... She probably just _out-grew the job_ and should have just told him, 'Bob, i'm not enjoying this anymore...either we renegotiate, what i do and won't do, or I'm off'... Ask Donald Trump that question! Then ask de Niro the same question. And then ask Trump how many charities he donates to, how many underprivileged people does he support, and has he ever forsaken money for people... just like Trump did when he became the POTUS? he worked for the people for four years.... for Free! And He is STILL WORKING FOR THE PEOPLE OF THE United States of America... People of America take a hard look at what they are trying to do to the best chance your fantastic country has for getting back to normal.... you won't do it if you back the three Amigos... In the 80s and the 90s I loved De Niro, but over the years, I came to realise, he has a bit of an attitude of *I'm Robert De Niro, a living legend, who'll be nice to you if I want to be. If I don't want to be nice, then I won't be!* He was quite unique as an actor, but over time, he's become a caricature of himself. With his go to De Niro facial expressions. He, like Harrison Ford as become more and more miserable the older he's got. However, unlike Ford, who'll be nice to his fans if the camera's are watching... Sometimes!! LOL Wheras, it seems De Niro doesn't care about his fans LOL

this sounds like a democratic message under the guise of how sad De Niro lives.....

Like a lot of actors before social media, I used to like Mr De Niro.

He is my favorite actor , and the mission is my favorite movie of Mr. De Niro

My favourite character played by De Nero is in the movie Raging Bull . But I can't understand why he would call his assistant in the middle of a family funeral twice to ask for something so unimportant instead of offering his condolence and not even see what was wrong with it. It's sad.

People like De Niro should be grateful that they had a very good life. What he calls sadness compared to ordinary people is peanut. I admire the man for his fantastic movies but won't sympathize with his sadness because he doesn't know what true sadness is!
