Robbie Gordon has to be one of my favorite all timers. He can drive just about anything but, always seemed more like a privateer without all the huge contracts. I suppose rooting for the underdog has always been my thing.

I was telling friends exact same thing !!!! Mph gauge would probably put this in a different perspective. At least for me. I’ve never been in a trophy truck or raced desert but the RPM’s can be deceiving trying to get a feel for how fast he’s taking corners and what not

I remember when Robbie was cool and drove a Porsche powered class 2 with his dad

This is normal behavior out there. That one was pretty hard but clearly a mistake as green army locked up his breaks, RG couldn’t stop as fast.

I enjoy watching the vegetation change at the different altitudes, the higher it is the Joshua Trees start to appear...

Have they ever ran Vegas to Reno? Or has it always been Reno to Vegas?

It is Vegas to Reno. Actually to Dayton south of Reno.

As good as these trucks are in our deserts, I'm curious why they don't do better at the Dakar. Euro rules? Something else?
