because they bend the rules for Peugeot elite team while riding him to the nth details... he needed a diesel turbo for elevation changes in Argentina rally , don't know about the true Paris to Dakar courses... 🤔✌️🙏💪☝️

Dakar is not Baja... If it were, the Speed team would've taken their standard unlimited truck. There are many more considerations with Dakar; not to mention the different rule set per class.
