Too zen, too defensive for fighting. Fighters have to be aggressive in order to win fights. In this fight, Robbie was the more aggressive one, and Nick didn't even want to be there. That's the main reason Nick lost. Other reasons include Nick's gotten slow and haven't been active for 7 years.

Nick is clearly trying to turn his life around and I think after everything he's been through his emotional intelligence has only improved since his departure. Definitely a memorable fight nonetheless, and one for the books!

I don't understand these insinuations that need Nick needs to 'turn his life around' or 'get his life together.' He is a teacher. What needs to be turned around in his life?

@@mannycole2988 I think Nick is already in the process of turning his life around. He did smoke a lot of weed before/possibly still does smoke now which does take a toll on your mental health in the long run (anxiety, psychosis, short term memory etc.) However Nick did look mentally in a much better place then I've ever seen him in the lead up to the fight and to be honest I enjoyed listening to Nick take his time and speak what he was thinking. I think what many people still imagine is the old Nick Diaz who would show up right after blazing, yell angrily at his opponent and then proceed to disappear completely other than random KZread videos accusing other fighters, and that has clearly changed and mentally he looks in a much healthier place

God Bless Robbie! Truly broke my heart seeing Nick look lost and just blocking at first. It's good to see him look healthier outside the ring. Always a fan, he was one of the best, come up with the OG's - may he choose the best path for him & his health mentally and physically.

@@christopherjames3524 thanks for your reply. You have a good point. I'm a 49yr old female as a teen took Aikido & Judo myself. Time & aging hasn't been the best. At 37 I was dx with advanced cancer, given 2yrs. I fought that mf' it resurfaced at 7yrs out. 4wks in Chemo, got Septic Shock "mins away from death on a trauma table" it made me never eligible for traditional cancer treatment again. It is genetic, very aggressive. I began marijuana for pain, tumors began to go away. Added more herbs/vitamins & alkaline my diet more. 3yrs later, I had a clean PET Scan 🏆🙏🏼 year later a trauma wreck left me severe injuries still can't walk 18mo's out & 4 Mo's after the wreck I got Covid-19 it has damaged vascular system & chemo's & Covid gave me Congestive Heart Failure. No doubt relate w/Nick re hardships, anxiety, etc. I wandered if I didn't self reflect & I think I did. You're right, he did land some good body shots. I need to watch the entire fight. I've been through a lot mentally the past year & I may have got over concerned ☺️ I been a huge fan, following Nick since he 1st fought at 18. He was born to fight. Thank you again ✌🏼💯
