There are 168 hours per week which means PG is literally spending less than 2% of the hours in a week on a podcast. Even if we say he spends half of the hours in a week sleeping then he still only spends 4% of his productive time on a podcast. Do you think he is jerking off during the rest of the 96% of the working hours he has in a week? It's simple math which even a grade school student can do. Thats a hell of a gamble. Keep in mind the max is higher for the same team then if the player leaves and with his injury history that could quickly become a poison pill. Signing him as an asset is ruthless as well because youd have to lie to him and say "we want you here for the future blah blah blah. We believe we can win a championship with you..". What they did was honorable because resigning him would have held a player that hasnt won hostage in an unwinable situation.

But if they give him the 4th year then if they traded him, he at least has the contract he wanted. The problem is their previous mistakes of trading away all their picks is what makes them in an unwinnable situation. They can't tank cuz they'll only make OKC better. They are now worst without PG. Even with his injury history they were at least making the playoffs. Now they are possibly a lottery team with that lottery pick going to OKC in a deep draft

Rob is right. From a business standpoint you need to have something to sell. OKC doesn't have the Lakers in their town either. Understand nobody thought SGA would become what he is today. He was the 11th pick of Charlotte. He was immediately traded for Miles Bridges. OK. But after the Clips had him in their camp for a year they traded him and gave up the world in other assets. Jalen Williams was one of the assets. When you tear it down you got to get lucky too. You got to hit on those picks. There are no guarantees.

Great debate I agree on both arguments if the clippers can rebuild right now but since they can't bottom out but OKC got their pick this next 2 yrs so I agree more on Rob but I think if clippers can go back they should have traded Paul George last year when he has more value and dont trade for harden

Kawhi is not Kobe lmao. Even after Kobe was hurt and wasn’t the same anymore he was still box office and people would go just to see him. Nobody is going “man kawhi is playing I gotta go see”. So should the clippers just waste 3 years to sell a couple extra tickets and then begin the likely 4+ year process of rebuilding the team ? That sounds like backwards business to me

Because he’s just that good when healthy a walking 30 point terminator

Both are right, parker is right on the clippers did right to keep kawhi for this season, try to play him and trade him as soon as you can. They investment to much on both to not get anything. The thunder got rid of his big 3 but not on the same time, you get rid of this team but in the nba is dificult to make a sell like mlb, it has to be a process that take more than one season
