Saw Priest 9-22-1979 in Chicago. It was awesome. Better the main show I went to see. I cannot believe how it has been. I was 13 at the time and now I am 54 and still love them to death. Rob Halford is the best singer in my opinion. The whole band is superb. Ian Hill...superb bass player. Nobody ever talks about him, but he is really good. Green Manalishi was the first song that got me interested.I wanted to see Kiss and it said Judas Priest was the warm up band and I was more excited about that. Kiss was entertaining, but it was all one big rumble of noise where Priest was clear and awesome:) Thank you Rob for all the great years of your talent:)

Pete, huge kudos for having Rob Hanford on the show. You did a great job with the interview or chat - however you want to think of it. I have tremendous personal respect from many parts of his personal journey and now will have to read the book based on the two of you talking about it. Great work, Pete. I know you are a huge long-time fan of Rob and Priest. Hope you had as much or more fun doing it as we had watching.

What a scoop! Nice job Pete! Interesting that Rob felt that the time was right for a biography when 20 year old pop stars are already putting out biographies. On that basis Rob’s biography should be a series of books.

First, you are a natural at interviewing. I was so taken by this. I saw Priest in Hollywood Florida, Hard Rock, and I thought I saw you in a floor seat. It was way before show started, and almost went over..

EXCELLENT interview Pete well done. Also, one of the amazing aspects of this interview (and there were many!) with A Metal God was that you actually let the man speak! That is a rarity nowadays. Thank you for conducting a phenomenal interview and acting with respect. You were a total gentleman.
