Dude could block interior lineman just as well as he can catch passes like a WR. Name another player who even came close to doing that... Not sure if hes the greatest TE of all time, but he was without a doubt the most dominant when healthy. Also can't deny how pretty those passes he was catching were. Playing with the goat certainly didn't hurt his career

For me, and I'm Raiders fan, Brady-Gronkowski is the most lethal connection I've seen. I watch football since 1978. With Montana-Rice it was pure speed, and finesse. With some QB and a bif back out of the backfield (ex: Bradshaw-Harris, Pastorini-Campbell) it was power. With Brady-Gronkowski it's all that in one. Can catch a 2-yard pass into trafic, and catch a 50 yard laser from Brady. Can create seperation, can out run LB, can out muscle CB, SS, FS. And can drag 2-3 players at the same time. CAN YOU IMAGINE BEING HEALTHY FROM DAY ONE OF HIS CAREER?! He doesn't received enough credit in those top-10 best players ever. I hope he comes back next year. And once again, I'm a Raider fan. But I can appreciate greatness whith Gronk. The man is unbelievable.

What amazes me is if you said i'm going to cut a guys legs or go for a Helmet to Helmet, on say Odel or AB to a reporter, the league would kick you out of the game, but on Gronk its just accepted, if they actually officiated things fairly for him he would have destroyed the record books.

I remember when Gronkowski and Hernandez came in together. All of my friends were so excited over Hernandez because of his size and hands, and they looked at Gronk as a cement head who would only block. When I saw how good Gronk's hands were in pre-season the few times that they went to him I knew that he was going to be great. He caught every pass that was thrown to him. I tried to tell them that, but they didn't buy it. I was right. 15:08 look at the guy with the Steelers 99 jersey on in the stands. Hilarious.

Rob Gronkowski is the best TE I have ever seen! Throw the football anywhere near him results in a TD! Plus he’s very COOL! The GRONK is one of a kind!!!

I've been a football fan for over 40 years and I have seen some of the greatest TEs to play the game but NEVER seen anything Gronkowski.

Gronks really amazing but you can see the Brady/Belichick Era helped his career a lot as well. We really witnessing something that will go down in history here

Gronk was one of a kind. The once in a lifetime athlete. Defined his position for ALL TIME. No one else is even close. Second place is a very very distant second place. And, he is so very likable a person. Even Pats haters didn't hate The Gronk. You'd have to be one very disturbed individual to hate a guy like Gronk. Godspeed dude in whatever you choose to do with the rest of your life. But, never forget the young kids you worked with and inspired. Working with the young kids is the best thing a guy like you can ever do. It is with the kids we make a lasting difference.

Gronks blocking is what helps the team in ways that don't get on the score sheet. He's got skills but also his desire to win the 50/50 balls, those are the greatest athletes, the persistence to get the ball no matter what.

As much as I hated New England, "mainly because they won so much" gronkowski was the best tight end I've ever seen play the game.

The catch on the play @ 3:13 is best catch I ever seen him make IMO. Watching it live on tv I was blown away by it. Definately solidified his greatness. Ballin'!!!

It's crazy to look back on how insanely dominant Gronk was against the defense and now he's a shell of himself due to injuries. He's still a great TE, and we saw it against the chargers in the playoffs and the chiefs in the afc championship that he's still got something to contribute on the receiving end. Imagine if we could adjust his injury slider to 99, so he never got hurt. How unfortunate would that be for the rest of the league? He's arguably the greatest tight end to have ever played, when healthy, but idk about all time great in terms of career. His numbers are great but it's been marred with injuries. It sucks :( I love Gronk
