This is probably the most casually hilarious comedy I have ever seen, but also the most calm and emotional and humane. It's perfect.

That Anthony Hopkins at the beginning is flawless. Bravo!
That James Mason is flawless! The Alan Bennett is just hilarious
Alan Bennett impression = awesome
i fucking love "I'm Holbeck Ghyll... goodnight"
Am I the only one who is re-watching this over and over rolling on the floor laughing by myself ? Aha !!!!!
Rob Brydon's Richard Burton is absolutely amazing
Brydon's Hopkins is unreal. Actually so is Coogan's.
How dark it got at the end. Brilliant.
I dont think Im ever going to get bored of this show.
Scary. Brydon and Coogan were a few years older than me when this came out. Now I'm comfortably older than they are in this first series. Not exactly a profound observation of the passage of time, but there you go.
Rob is so talented as is Steve !!
Ken Bruce impression...hilarious
Ahahaha! I just watched this movie for the first time a few days ago. One of the funniest movies I've ever seen in a long time.
I’d like to hear Brydon as Connery doing ‘Kubla Khan’ to ‘Modern Major General’s (patter) Song’, if possible before breakfast.

Lol I loved the Anthony Hopkins impression
3:30 Such a good impression of Alan Partridge!!! Ahhaaaa :P
His Hopkins is amazing
Steve Coogan's impression of Alan Partridge is almost good
Robs parky impression was pretty good
I'd buy a walk-in bath on Holbeck Ghyll's recommendation
Ken Bruce impression is brilliant
Coogan’s James Mason is spot on.

Absolutely priceless.
Go to your room or I shall beat you. OMG THE funniest line.
I think he is laughing when he's trying to drink the wine at the end there
And Rob Brydon's Bond...."I'll have a vodka martini, shaken, not stirred.. I need it now, don't make me wait...." 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Brydon seems to win more often than not though his Terry Wogan was Ken Bruce. Wish they'd surprise us by doing impressions of themselves.

Rob Brydon is like your slightly reclusive, but excitable, friend who doesn’t get out much and have much interaction with others, so when he does escape his enthusiasm and excitement at being able to converse with others can be somewhat overwhelming at best. Love him though!

Brydon's Ken Bruce is ridiculously good
Steve Coogan's James Mason. Fucken phenomenal
Have to agree with Motherflange , the james mason is spot on, i'm, a fan of the late great star
I love Rob Brydons Captain Bligh!!! It's spot on!
Steve is at another level. Rob mid table championship level.
right as the video was ending i took a huge gulp of wine then "ah haaaa" half chocked then half vomited/spat wine all over my laptop. thanks steve.
What a charming girl! What a charming girl! What a charming girl!
hes fucking nailed Ken Bruce! spot on.
Alan Bennett. Quite simply amazing
There's method, in my, mad-ness!
Love the dueling impressions, but as American I don't have the people they are imitating.
The thing I hate about this is the LOUD EATING NOISES AHHHHH
Brilliant
"...if you're worried about INTRUDERS..."
1:26 amazing

I was going to ask how they don't laugh at each other when they're doing this, but then I remembered who they were...

Oh mam, oh Alan
Brydon's Holly Johnson sounds too Richard Burton. He should revisit it.
My ribs are hurting ffs
I wonder if they can do Isaac Newton? Man, that's a tough one.
You feel Steve's pain at the impressions by about episode three!

@mrJJ11 That was Ken Bruce..who's just a scottish Terry Wogan!! :-)
How could you miss out the scouser part!?
I loved this film. I am not surprised that some of my fellow Americans didn't care for it. It's very subtle. I loved their Woody Allen. It was sooooo Woody.

Coogan was just implying that Alan Bennett (the guy Brydon is impersonating) would have said "me" rather than "I".
and you know that because you know them personally?
Did you watch 'The Trip'? I'm guessing not...
see the only difference between Steve and Rob is thier ego...
