Rob. Thanks. I suffered this weekend losing a few Jacks, because my shooting line is attached to a slider ring on the shaft. So I am looking for a different way to rig. Thanks, this was very helpful.

We never fit slide rings. Some guns you have to use them, like all pneumatic guns because the shaft needs to slide down inside a cylinder. Is your gun able to accept a shaft able to fit with the shooting line attached to to the rear of the shaft?

@@RobAllenSpearfishing it's an enclosed muzzle gun. Does it make a difference with the set up that you have demonstrated?

@@delstep2255 I can't help, not knowing the gun type. Our gun muzzles have sufficient space for both line and shaft.

I just got a Timberline 110 cm and I am taking it to Cape Verde this fall targeting wahoo. Would you give a roller another wrap of shooting line or use a single wrap like you did in the video?
