Good to see a new design to resolve some issues. After my first dive with the older version, the first thing I did was remove the cassette and file the safety off. Never had an issue since 👍

Probably 90% disable the safe but for those who need a safe we try to make it work as best as possible.

Thanks for the video! When will these mechanisms be available in central Europe? Is it recommendable to upgrade the now old mechanism by buying a new casette or do I need to buy a new gun? All the best from Austria PS: First

Hi Alex, you have to buy a new gun 😁😉 Just joking. All our cassettes are interchangeable with every housing. These will be fitted to all future guns.

Very cool. Are these mechs backward compatible with the old Vecta 2 handles? Or are they too different?

Hi Ryan, we have been producing these for several months now, they should be in stores soon.

I just bought a RA 60cm snapper. It has the second newest trigger mech, but a polymer line release (not metal, like in this video) - I have never seen this before. Is this normal? Best regards.

Hi Martin, There are the 2 options, glass filled nylon or stainless steel, all depends what the original distributor ordered.

Just bought a Rob Allen sparid evo 1200 in Australia brand new . The safety is black does this mean I have bought a brand new gun but it’s not the latest updated trigger ???

It might be the older model, I would not know. We did put some out with Black safeties in the beginning before changing to red. The red safety version is still filtering though to some of the stores. There is nothing wrong with the Black version, the rest of the components are exactly the same even if it is the previous model.

All guns produced in the last year or so have the new cassettes.

Do you mean to disable or, do you not know how to take it off safe? To take it off, slide it backwards, it is similar to pulling the trigger back on a revolver hand gun.

@@chrisbonato728 You can block the forward movement the same way, either a small screw or a glue paste to prevent the red safety moving forward. Do not use a very liquid glue that can seep down inside the mechanism.

Hi Billy, these are used in all models from about 18 months ago.

I believe that the safety button is not necessary. A speargun only will be a hundred percent safe unloaded.
