Can they rented out? Or air bnb ?
Is it cheaper to buy new construction or have a house built than buying a older home. It seems like I have been seeing some in Dixon cove for around 150000 for 3 bed 3 bath with pool. Almost seems to good to be true? What do you know about those new homes in Dixon cove?

This is a great question! Location, views, access, rent ability play a great role in price on Roatan. These units in Dixon Cove aren’t the most desirable as they lack views, walk ability to beaches, restaurants, diving and shopping. These units might be well suited for someone who wants to live full time, has a car and doesn’t mind driving 20-30 min to the beach etc. They did drop their price significantly as they haven’t been selling as quickly as they hoped.

@@KrystalEngerRoatanRealEstate do you know how much they dropped them from? We have been to roatan twice and actually would prefer something a little further away from the all the hustle. We stayed in Milton bight and liked it.

Hi, it does have a very minimum HOA fee of $150/month to cover common area light and water, road maintenance and night time security and common area gardening.

@@audemars_piguet13 Sorry Rick, I think you might be misinformed. Many properties have CC&Rs and registered HOA corporations.
The one BR condos look cheap and thrown together like the polyester of real estate. A wide plank for a eat in kitchen counter? No dishwaher ? No buyer here
