I do the same with a Legion 5 and a Medium Size Mousepad with a Viper Mini, and my Games go on a 2TB HDD and 1TB SSD, and these 3 devices are connected via an USB Hub to the Laptop. Can't explain how comfortable it is to sit on a Couch or a Bed, and it's fine for playing Singleplayer Games.

It's a tossup between Jay and Hardware Unboxed for best setup, as far as I'm concerned... I mean I'd love to have the amount of space that Hardware Unboxed has on their giant desk, but jays room and setup, are both more close to what I'd have available to work with, sizewise minus shelves and LED lights and strips... At least on those that happened to be production setups, they somewhat gave the shoddy cable management a pass when there were millions of cables on the floor in a rats nest

Neil Blomkamp's setup was a nice surprise! For what it's worth, I thought Elysium was okay, maybe a 6/10. Chappie was rough though, lots of things wrong with that one unfortunately. Would have been interested to see Steve's (GN) setup, have to imagine it's the most utilitarian and unremarkable thing ever, in the best way possible

Vikkstar123 had the best setup to me. Not just his custom room being awesome, but also very clean PC desk setup with only one long wire showing for his wired headphones.

The crew legit got disappointed at Linus for not recognizing Nami from One Piece!!! Respect!

As a producer i was foaming for the whole video about all the studio speakers used for multimedia and the position of them…ESPECIALY with people who are connected to music industry one way or another

Linus is like the big boss of Tech, you know he's respected when you scroll down through the comments and you see other famous people like "THANK YOU FOR ROASTING ME SIR! MAY I HAVE ANOTHER SIR!" and other people are like "Man I cant wait until I become famous so Linus can call my gaming setup garbage."

I think LGR's setup is my favorite. It's not anything crazy or grandiose, but it's still nice. Of the "clean" setups, It feels more down to earth than most tbh, without feeling too cluttered/messy.

The house I moved into has a dark green wall behind my desk so I have to have the panel facing me again. Might get a white sheet to hang behind my monitor in the future to solve the issue

You missed the best part of Asmon's setup, he admitted to it as he watched your Starforge video: When he had that old setup it was with a PC he didn't check for compatibility with the case all that well, so the only way it ran was with an open panel and the stand fan blowing air right into it. At 33:53 you can see the stand fan on standby right on the lower left corner.

I do love the way wendell's is on first blush completely immaculate and then you see the absolute jank that ties it together.

The whole bouncing the key light of the wall is actually something I have seen and heard of a lot from KZread production setup recommendation KZread videos. So there is likely value to doing that.

I can't express how excited I was to see you review LGR! He absolutely doesn't get enough recognition in the KZread community, especially considering how long he's been a part of it.

10:57 The wall mounted camera is genius actually. Can't knock it over and it doesn't shake with your desk when you're intensely gaming. If I were a streamer, that's where I'd mount my camera. Maybe divert a wall mounted monitor arm for some more flexibility, but I'm totally sold on the idea.

6:30 that is a, sadly, discontinued mic preamp from Universal Audio called the SOLO 610 (you can tell that it is not the SOLO 110 because it has physical switches and not light up buttons). Absolutely phenomenal preamplifier, but also incredibly niche so I’m not surprised that it was discontinued.

just in case you were wondering, with Hanks set up that wood wall is known as a French cleat it means you can make, or buy, the shelves so its a modular design that can easily be taken off and changed.
