Pretty much sums up what they were talking about in the styles changing over the 90s and why that era can never be replicated. I hadn't thought of it in those terms before. The podcast was really interesting.

Why did hardcore producers drop the breakbeats!! It was so much better and so much more interesting...

Cos the kickdrum came in so started goin that way inclined when I was producing I tended to only use breakbeat or jungle breaks in breakdown but still love the breakbeat maybe one day il come out of retirement when promoters want to pay me what I want and do a full set of breakbeat maybe just maybe 🤔

Agree...hardcore sounded more classy to me with the breakbeat. The distorted kick drum ruined it and made it all sound cheesy in my humble opinion

Oh man, what a mix this is... Banged it out in the gym today, full of nostalgia. Classic after classic. Keep them coming.

Track 3 is The Journey by Ramos, Supreme and Sunset Regime. The Heart of Gold mix is the Album Mix. There is no track in between Love Of My Life and Here I Am. Track 11 is actually Apollo 13. So... Doesn’t Have To Apollo 13 Love Of My Life Here I am 👆 That's literally from the Force's mouth. 👌

Bit of everything. Favorite F+S track is All Systems Go. This mix shows that hardcore should have been and could be anything you want to play. And this is so much better without MCs imo
