Hi, No definitely out to far for the 308, we're using 168 eldm in the 308, for this deer we used the 7mmRemMag. Thanks for watching and your question. Phil

I settled on a Leupold VX5 duplex red dot reticle, there was a few that were on my list but I really wanted a clean reticle and I'd had such an awesome run with my VX3i (which is now on the 308) it helped me decide on that choice. Cheers for watching and your question mate, happy hunting.
