Humorously, the chap does sound a little as though his name is Roald Dahl. And to say he wrote stories and he was cordial, neither of which is true, not entirely true. When he was young he wrote stories wrote novels for the rest of his career and he wasn't welcoming to anybody who had a different colour skin
