ROAE 2024: Conquering the B Loop After 3 Months of Dirt Biking

Спорт

On June 23rd, 2024, the ROAE (Route Of All Evil) annual ride took place at Blue Mountain (also known as McNutt) in Maple Ridge, BC.
This day also marked my third month of dirt biking.
I completed the B Loop in 4 hours and 20 minutes, taking my time to finish the 32 km course.
Over the past three months, I've seen significant improvement. On my first ride, I couldn't even last an hour before I was exhausted. Completing this ride in over 4 hours shows how much my physical endurance has improved.
My only goal was to finish the ride.
At the beginning of the ride, I experienced arm pump, but after about 30 minutes, it went away, and by the middle of the ride, I was riding much faster, at least by my standards.
There were some very skilled riders out there.
At the end of the event, there were some prizes and pretty good burgers.
Overall, it was an amazing event!

Well done!!! What rear tire are you running??? If its not a gummy, get one...they're game changing for grip at McNutt. I'm running the Dunlop AT81EX...rode for 3 hours on the stock AT81, and swapped it out and put in a HD tube. Night and days' difference.

@@stewy_604 Thanks, I appreciate it! I have the stock tire for now. I've bought the gummy tire and Tubliss, but my riding buddies suggested I hold off on installing them to learn the “hard way”. However, I plan to switch to them right before the season ends to try them out and prepare for winter.

@@DirtMO why learn twice? Haha…ditch the stocker and do the gummy. You’ll be amazed with the improved grip and what it’ll bite on.

Just got it installed yesterday! 😂 Can’t wait to see how it performs. I’ll record a new video soon!
