Roadster Update & Custom 1935/36 Pedals

Quick update for all of you who watched my last KZread video. Then it’s right into working on pedals (after I change my mind of course). Luckily, a good friend came to the rescue with an original 1935/36 pedal assembly in good condition. Really happy with the end result. What do you think?!

Love your attention to detail, and your persistence and creativity in getting what you really want. Thank you for letting us in on your thought process - challenges we can relate to! Also, explaining the task then speeding up the doing is a great editing choice. Nice work!

Very cool to see someone else my age building an old school hotrod, I'm slowly building myself a 1940 ford pickup. Gonna be following your build like a hawk, sweet build so far. Watching from New Zealand.

I was just talking to Ronny Roadster & you came up in our conversation so here I am checking you out. He said you went 161 in his roadster so you should download video on your channel if you have some. See you at Speed Week.

Very inspiring to see a woman in the traditional hot rodding style, and a beautiful one at that. If your looking for original parts I have some sources here in Massachusetts possibly, car clubs and family friends. Keep being inventive have fun

I am absolutely happy to see people like this with skills showing them off like this on KZread. Trial and error of the builds and such. Not some doctored up video making stuff look what they are not. Real deal. Yes she is a girl and everyone mentions this 1,000,000 times. But that is not my point. Point is she has skills most of you don't and you should watch her and learn what she shows you cause this the last of this generation and age group people with skills. unless people like her show you the trials and errors of the builds they make you will no longer see the skills it took to make this car she is building. It's whole reason i try build bike builds correctly so you can see correct ways and my errors in doing it what fails. I give this person much credit for her videos and i have been watching them way back and very impressed. This is a my dad showed me or learned in trade school, or is just damn hands on smart going for it and learning it along way. Not really sure nor did see video saying it. But by watching her i would have to guess some skills type person passed it on and you can tell that in just way she explains everything. absolutely love the fact you do this and i hope your channel grows huge and you do very well all this and hope younger people are inspired to learn skills like this!

Keep doing good work! What you’re doing is building a hotrod, not painting by numbers. The car will guide you on how to adjust accordingly. Have fun and learn!

I've been around awhile I would be real nervous about those welds especially the brake pedal if that weld cracks and breaks your going to have a real problem it almost looks like you're mixing cast steel and plate steel make sure the pedal can't flex and hit the steering wheel column you or somebody else will be trusting that weld with their life we're a if you're ever in a hairy situation you may be stomping on that pedal as hard as you can this is no go kart maybe I'm a worry wart you will have a lot of Leverage on that weld don't mean to be a buzzkill girls are hard to find in this sport and your joy the killer job just trying to protect a fine member of this sport meaning you your friend Chuck

The pedals are made of the same ductile iron as a front axle. They take to modern MIG welding as well as the mild steel the aftermarket ones are made of and combine together very well.

Very good. If you get a copyright strike because of the music in the background. you can respond that your camera pick it up in the background and you were not using it in the vid. It worked for me.

WOW Carly It is good to see a REAL young Female who has a genuine interest in building cars. I have 3 daughters and none want to be in the garage with me. Unlike Some other youtube channels. There are some with Trans fee-males.....Like Sarah -n -tuned.....Transgender and really IMO a disrespect to women who have to concur the stigma of being a woman who likes building cars......Keep up the videos you will be huge someday. And kudos to your parents for supporting your dream. Cant wait to see you driving that 32
