@Tank As you can see, I'm a musician. I totally dig where you're comimg from with people treating you "special" because of who they think you are. I've been an actively performing rock musician since 1983 and I still get a bit... strange feelings... when someone recognizes me away from the stage or goes on about how great I or my band are. Give them an honest and sincere thank you, give them 30 seconds of your time for a handshake or a photo, then respectfully explain you have to get back to work (or finish shopping so you can get hime, or go to the little tpur mamager's room, or whatever. Thank them again and move on. You'll be fine

I think your "discomfort" at all the praise/love is completely understandable. Parasocial relationship are weird and hard. You constantly battle wondering "do they like "me" or the "youtube Tank"" and I guess it's hard feeling "strong emotion" from people who you don't know but seems to know you? It's one sided and may feel forced on you. Just want to tell that you don't "have" to reciprocate, never feel like you owe people anything, and boundaries are goods. But also, you can safely accept the praise for you works, you give people entertainment and that is a very very valuable things to give people, so thanks for all the hard work!

Thank you again for showing folks what it takes to be on tour (whether you’re working larger venue tours or a smaller venue tours, it doesn't matter. It's all the same, a lot of highly committed tech, tour management people, & the preformers coming together, becoming like a family, & giving it their best 150%+ each show for the folks who come to enjoy the music & see one of their favorite groups preform live. It definitely 'takes a village' to make it all happen & I love that Electric Callboy was totally down with allowing you to show everyone not only the hard work you do every day but everyone else as well. I really thought it was awesome when you were placing I believe water on stage right before the show & I thought I could hear some of the crowd cheering your name 🙂. I might have been mistaken, but if I wasn't, just thought it was great. Also love getting to see the love & respect you receive every day from Electric Callboy & the crew. We're really enjoying these tour videos, especially getting to see everything you're responsible for, the awesome shows, & the fans really enjoying the music & performances! It takes me back to when I used to be on tour doing lighting & the feeling of 'family', that the crews I had honor to work with, formed. It was great & I get to share a little of that with my husband though your videos - I can't thank you enough for doing these. Husband & I have truly become fans of Electric Callboy's music & hopefully they'll be coming to the US soon as we'd love to see them live sometime if they make it up our way in Seattle. Stay safe, have a great time, we really enjoy your channel, videos & can't wait for your next 'On Tour' video (or would these be more close to 'vlogs'? Lolol 😄). I'm guessing that part of the challenge with getting used to all the recognition and support from others is that a lot of the work you're used to doing outside of KZread is largely behind-the-scenes type stuff. Like the band or artist you're working for probably appreciates you for the work you do, but outside of that immediate environment most folks don't see/know what you've all done. Then the pandemic happened, you started streaming/doing KZread, and now you're taking all of us along and these formerly fairly private journeys.

That time lapse was so cool. I noticed people up in the rafters and holy hell i hate heights so that would scare the life out of me. I know Willy says he hates people but we do love him too lol. Its also really nice to hear the boys and you saying how much you all love what you are doing. It makes the shows even better to know that. Also I think you and the boys need a sponsor from Jagermeister lol. They would get alot of advertisement time lol

So i've been officially in one of Tanks videos, i can delete this one from the bucket list i guess xD Unfortunaltely didn't see you once, eventhough i was right in front of the booth-thingy u guys had at the right side of the stage (sounddesk? i don't know what it's called). was too focused on the stage or the people around me it was an incredible show my whole body hurt until yesterday and i had no voice for the entire sunday, but man was it worth it. Hadn't had that much fun since wacken thank you Tank, for showing us the behind the scenes stuff, it's really cool and makes me appreciate the band even more. but how cute is Niko? The love and appreciation he shows towards you (most notably in this and the Nürnberg vlog) are so nice. such a great personality. can't wait for the next EC-Tour, maybe i'll catch you there. and seriously thank you Tank

Awesome Tanky, as always. You're what people in agile software development call a servant leader. Humble, helpful, willing to serve for the success of the whole team, motivating others, just a person everyone loves to be around with. Qualities of a real leader. And please only become more professional if you can keep it real and authentic. Cudos to the people who sent you the 'german gift bag'. It can't get any more german than this. Loved it. you know there are two kinds of youtubers: 1st the classicer influencer, they want to be famous no matter what they need to do, so they start to do cheap content like reactions and would sell their souls to the devil just to become famous. 2nd guys like you, who just like to create content about stuff they do, doesn´t matter if 2 or 20000000 people want to see it, they just do it because they love to do it, its like a hobby. You are this kind of youtuber and that is what makes you authentic, and what people like about you and i think why the band loves your work so much, you are doing a great job plus you are authentic and a real nice smart funny guy.

I wouldn't knock reaction channels this readily, especially since Tank started doing reactions exactly because doing reactions was going viral as everyone was bored out of their minds during the pandemic. Plus, he could work his usual job because of the pandemic, so he turned to something that would keep him busy, that would offer him the chance to bring in his expertise, and even if he wasn't totally relying on it, I wouldn't say he didn't factor in that it could get him some additional income. Without reaction channels and their popularity, we wouldn't be here.

I can only assume that it is tough to be recognized and have people approach you, in this world we don’t always know what people’s intentions are so precautions always come first. However I would think that people who follow you and are on your channel wouldn’t come across like that, so I can see both sides of it. You have earned your reputation and you deserve it, so if anything just enjoy that people want to come and say hello and show you appreciation because it should make you feel good that you can make an impact on people and even shed light sometimes on subjects you speak on and about as well 🤘🏻🤘🏻 It’s also very clear how much the Electric Callboy fellas love you and their crew and management, so that should tell you all you need to know about the man you are sir

Some friendly advice, anything "glow in the dark", like Daniel's fretboard markers, charges instantly when exposed to LED BLACKLIGHT and for some reason its brighter and lasts longer. I wish I had an explanation, but test it yourselves and you'll see what I mean. Blacklights are just better for GITD.

the blue parking thing (we have it in holland too): on a lot of parking lots, it's max 2 or 3 hrs parking during the day. Plenty to do groceries but not to park all day. Use the blue thing to mark what time you arrived, and put it under the wind screen so it can be seen. You put 14:30 (or 2:30pm) there, you can park until 16:30, etc.
