@@TankTheTech their music is less serious and more fun in my opinion. I just can't imagine Sushi dressing up for Hypa Hypa, Pump It or We got the moves. Without him the guys wouldn't be at the point where they are now but personally I just like the fun approach to music so much more.

Funny that you mention Disney, the opening view of the castle is Neuschwanstein Castle. They actually based the Disney castle on that one. Worth a visit, it's beautiful.

@@akromvaleth how is it better? Because they make themselves look as clowns? I like these songs, but they aren’t better just because they are so le wacky and quirky, funny. Most of these new songs sound the same. For example Crystals was a great song and wasn’t clownish. Sushi’s solo project is actually good and has a lot of more serious bangers. Also just wanted to add, “chemistry” is a buzzword, you are not part of the band and can’t measure it.

What you call "songs sound the same" it's called IDENTITY, the band before Nico sound exactly like any other Electronicore band, they now have a fresh approach of their songs and what they want to play and it's just better overall, get over it. Ps: i didn't say a dime about Sushi new project, no need to bring "fan jealosy attack" out of nowhere.

Ok. I'll be honest. Electric callboy normally isn't my cup of tea. I don't know why, and i likely couldn't give you a reason if you asked me. But one thing i will always give them full marks for, is their consistency with their music videos. There is not a dime wasted in anything they do. Location, style, everything is a perfect match for the song they're singing. And i love that. This video takes that concept, and enhances it 10X over. I love this music video. And thats all i have to say. Love your work tank! Keep being the amazing roadie we all know and love man! (P.S. i love it when covers are made their own unique thing as well, my favorite example of this is jhonny cash's "hurt". Such a amazing cover of an already great song.)

Holy crap yes you can...it's incredible and live...oh my...Arte has released their concert at the Hellfest on their YT channel, it's just awesome af. They turned the Hellfest into a big tekkno metal party ^^

I enjoy their new-ish style with Nico so much. You can clearly see that they didn't try and replace Sushi with someone who's as similar as possible but instead embraced Nicos strengths while keeping their own style alive.

Just came back from Full Force Festival in Germany, they played this one live - and it was a BANGER!

I have wanted a good metal cover of this song the last 15 years. Finally, this is everything i could have dreamed of!

I love this cover, back in the early 2000s I was really into the Euro Techno scene and as you say, this was a massive hit for Cascada. But over the years, my tastes have edged towards heavier music, so this is the perfect combination of techno and heavy... Just to pick up on you saying that people assume you're a metalhead, I don't understand the need to pigeonhole people. I either like a song or I don't.

Thanks for mentioning the original original- Maggie Reilly was the vocalist on Mike Oldfield's 1983 hit (at least in Europe) Moonlight Shadow. The EC boys have done a superb job in taking it to a whole new level

Covered by german group Groove Coverage (and being related to the singer Mell this song lived on in our family through the 2000s and on 😂)

I’m not the biggest techno enthusiast but this was a banger. Everytime we Touch is an absolute classic and I expect it to hear it if I ever go clubbing here in Chicago, hopefully this version too. This was some of the best bromance I’ve ever witnessed and I adore this. And I gotta mention just how good the clean singing was.

This cover has no business being this god damn good. Also this song has always been a guilty pleasure song of mine so it’s absolutely awesome to see them cover this.

agreed! i saw them at Download and was smart enough to get to their tent stage an hour before they went on. totally skipped parkway drive to get there when i did and don’t regret it one bit. i ended up right near the front and damn… the whole vibe in that tent was different from any other band’s set all weekend. even the music they played during setup was a different vibe (bwitched, bon jovi, queen, etc). for like 40 minutes while the stage crew was switching between bands the entire crowd just sang and danced together. security was passing out cups of water due to the heat, and strangers instantly became friends. it was like being with your 5,000+ closest friends at a really chill party… until their intro started and then it was just this huge, ridiculous, happy, nonstop metal rave. they even did the “let it go/i want it that way” medley 😃 i know it sounds kind of cheesy, but it was just such a good and welcoming time. they totally won Download for me and thousands of other people. if you have a chance to see them live DO IT!

One of my favorite aspects is the way they intermixed the styles more throughout the song with the final section combining the heaviest parts of the electronic and metal sections

man, normally I am more or less a typical Hardcore Techno guy from Germany. Yes, I am still clubbing, even when I hit 40 this year. :P There are not many bands I like but EC is one of them. Through their songs I found your recation channel. Alwas like your side notes and your humor. So I discover even more songs that I normally wouldnt find :D

I bet their ESG score skyrocketed :) The bromance was touched many times in this perfect ECB cover. Even better than Tekkno Train.

They took, what made the song so incredible great (chorus/melody) and gave it a great frame completly representing their style of music. I love it.

There are VERY few bands where I can say that every single time I have watched or listened to them, I came away smiling and/or feeling better. EC is near the top of that list, and this one may have put them at the top.

This just made me smile. I've slept on this band for so long, mentally dismissing them as just another "core" band. I was profoundly mistaken. The production is excellent, the music catchy, the video hilarious and the overall vibe I get is just one of unabashed fun. Like, it's not just posing "look how awesome we are". It's a little self deprecating and self aware, but also "fuck it, I'm enjoying myself". And I love that energy.

Im so grateful Electric Callboy changed their name. My Inuit friend’s parents would be referred to as “Eskimo” in derogatory ways in the 80s and 90s and when i discovered a band called Eskimo Callboy who are just a bunch of german guys, it was hard to even want to listen to their music so i never did. But thank god they changed their name because i could actually feel comfortable listening to them and enjoying their content knowing their name isn’t a mockery of my friends
