    I don't care what anyone thinks. This is a great ride. Negative comments about this SUV are made by those who can't even afford a Toyota Yaris, lmao.

    At first I only saw 2 or 3 of these every 2-3 weeks and now I see them every where!!! This car is gorgeous!! The styling is very controversial but its seems to sit well with many of the affluent people here in my city. Coming from a town where Escalades and Range Rovers dominated the roads, this new QX56 is starting to gain massive popularity. I see more and more of them every day! I wish!! Not even trading in my 09 G37 will give me enough to get into this Qx56!

    This truck is absolutely enormous. I couldn't believe how small she looked in comparison to the truck in the last few seconds of the video. They say you will get 14 MPG in the city... But really, the more and more you are stopping and going in city traffic you can eventually see like 8 MPG lol.

    The new QX weighs about 600 pounds MORE than my LX470 (2006) has 900cc's MORE displacement, makes 125 MORE HP yet returns about 4 mpg MORE on the highway. I don't know how they did it but if this beast can even get close to the EPA numbers, I am very impressed.

    I don't know what other people might think about this car but i really like it because it has beautiful exterior, interior, features and performance as well. People from Europe might not like cars this type (SUV) because they rarely are driven there. It is a car mainly for N.America or some parts of Asia.

    I honestly think Infiniti is starting to replace many cars in the city I live in, my city use to be infested with alot of Mercedes all I see now are BMW's and Infiniti's everywhere and a bunch of other luxury brands. So far Ive seen like 5 of these new QX56 suvs, they look alot nicer in the flesh. Its a very elegant car despite its akward looks, its actually grown on me. If I had $75,000 to despense of I would diffently consider the QX56.

    This SUV has literally taken over the roads since it first came out. I live in a pretty affluent area, although I do not own a Qx56 personally I do know however that this new QX has rapidly replaced the majority of Lexus LX, Mercedes GL and Range Rovers I use to see on people's drive ways not to long ago. I see this car every 5 minutes. Admittedly, the car is very different from a traditional looking SUV but thats why I think so many families are dropping $70K for a car like this.

    @D3m0nL0rd1 In terms of performance, yes. But at this time we do not know how well those new Chrysler's will hold up. 370Z and GTR are both respectively fine performing vehicles. GTR would also destroy any of those vehicles, but I guess that's for another debate. The newer Maxima is also a pretty nice car overall.

    wow this thing looks amazing. I give them ALOT and I mean ALOT of credit for creating someone that looks different unlike all the other car companies who copy each other.Good job infiniti....the only downside is pricing. They charge way too much and you can jump into a BMW and Benz for around the same price. I personally would rather choose infiniti as they are way more reliable from boring bmw and mercedes.

The Range Rover is diffently up for discussion but this is just one an amazing car, I mean if Infiniti's goal is to imitate a Private Jet then I dont see why I should look any further because that represents the very word Luxury!"

    I'm not feeling the exterior yet but I'm sure it'll grow on me. It looks like a cross between a FX45 in the front and a Scion in the back.... I really am tired of seeing those darn fender vents that everybody is sticking on their cars. The interior is awesome though. Overall, it looks nice and I'd buy one in a couple years.

  • @Johncarson9113
    @Johncarson911314 жыл бұрын

    @MrAutodome They are not fake chrome vents, weather or not they look unproportional & fake for your taste that is simply your opinion. Unlike other vehicle manufacturers the Infiniti FX and QX actually use side vents that serve a purpose and functionality to the car. The side vents & inlet is actually functional and operates as the intake point for the engine. Could the vents have looked nicer in terms of design? OF COURSE! but they have a purpose unlike other vehicles slapped on for decoration.

    @flatblackstrat Japan only has 3 Infiniti cars labled Nissans, of those being the Nissan Fuga (M37) Nissan Skyline coupe & sedan (G37) Skyline crossover (EX35). However I do know that the Infiniti QX56 is available in China. Supposedly only the Mega Rich can afford the QX56 in china, the MSRP price is what the average house cost here in the states. The QX56 in china starts at an MSRP of $1,498,000 Chinese Yuan which is the equivelant to $223,500 USD, thats the cost of a Bentley here in the USA.

    @niteangel27 test drive one, or better yet try their sexier FX35 or FX50. That would change your perception. Watching it and driving one mades a lot of difference. I just came from a 3 hour cross state driving to the ski resort of PA on my FX35. The driving experience especially the intelligent cruise control and distance control assist are driving comfort you would not want to give up once you tried it.

    @Illmatic662 yeah you are right i would not waste $500 on a poorly crafted jacket but burning $ 50k on a llame finished suv is not a big deal. i wasn't comparing the jacket to suv, it was an example about leather finish. and for your kind information i am looking for a large vehicle to buy and currently 2011 ram longhorn is #1 on my list the only thing that got infiniti qx out of my shopping list is the interior and i dont think i will even bother test driving this nissan patrol on steroids.

    @clarda1 what you buy is totally your choice, which i respect. as for trucks American's are way better not to mention the only three hd trucks in the market are all American. as far as jeep is concerned i only mentioned one product coz i know that infiniti or nissan have no answer for the mighty wrangler, besides they are all chrysler products. and please a 72 charger can beat M45 any day.

    @unstoppablepiggy It rides on the same platform as the Nissan Patrol but Its an entirley different car at the exterior, the 2011 QX56 is completley infiniti inspired all around, the front fascia resembles the new M-series sedan just the way the Lexus LX SUV resembles the Lexus LS sedan. But yes, your right we dont have the Nissan Patrol yet, but its coming to the states next year, it will be replacing the current Nissan Armada.

    @D3m0nL0rd1 I think its an accurate thing to say. Nissan's are much more reliable then Dodge vehicles. They also have superior resale value. The Altima, Rogue, & 370Z respectively all have top or near top resale value in their respective class.I will say that the recent Dodge's of 2012, it appears as if they are doing a 360, but I need more time to see what they will do. Chrysler/Dodge always has had some subpar vehicles. The Ram Longhorn is a fine truck though, I will at least say that.

The QX56 is a fine truck, that's what we were debating. I know how you feel. A couple of years ago I never would have considered Hyundai, Kia, Ford, Volvo, etc. But I would buy any of those brands now, because they are making unique and compelling products.

    @whatever0481 The Land Cruiser is hardly seen in the states, although they are available they just arent on High demand. Consumers in the market for a $60,000 luxury utility vehicle are obviously looking for brand quailty and brand Image, consumers in this segment would more likley buy a Range Rover Sport, Infiniti QX56 or a Mercedes GL all with a starting MSRP of $60,000, the Toyota Land Cruiser isnt on demand compared to these cars and not to mention its priced well above all its competitors.

    @Illmatic662 man GTR can destroy a Ferrari but is twice the price of a Charger and Challenger so it should be twice the car which it is. but reliability is just one thing to consider when you are buying a car, things like performance, looks, value, ride quality, comfort, built quality, fit and finish, technology, features, mpg's, etc. and not to forget fun factor are also part of the criteria. Maxima is a nice car but the only plus point its got is resale value maybe realiabily or mpgs

  • @D3m0nL0rd1
    @D3m0nL0rd113 жыл бұрын

    @clarda1 well first of all on what grounds maxima can compete with charger? maxima is a good point a to point b car, it is neither sporty or muscular nor has the performance and the interior of rt max is just as good if not better. .370z is a nice car but not practical, just two seats and also down on power (no v8), its v6's is no better than hemi v8. i love gtr but its price is almost double the challenger srt8 so no comparison there. besides nissan only got 1 hyper car and dodge got 2
