Road Tripping New Zealand in a JUCY Van | Van Life Vlog
My brother and I hired a JUCY Van to travel the South Island of New Zealand for a few weeks earlier this year. It was an awesome experience and we got to see some truly incredible places along the road trip.
Follow along in the vlog to see the things we get up to and get an idea of what van life in New Zealand is like!

No longer in Thailand. I’ve moved on to Europe. Loads of content incoming :) Thanks for the support!
hey, when you set up the bed, it seemed to be no room for the bags and luggage, where did you put them?

It actually created plenty of space underneath the bed! However you mostly had the stand outside to pull the luggage out from underneath / lift the bed up to get into the storage boxes

@AshleeMorgan, thank you. Was the bed fit for 2 adults? It looks pretty small.😅

It fits two :) my brother is 6’2” and felt it was a little short. I’m 5’4” and found it fine. Theres enough space side to side, we each had our own blankets / bedding and went opposite ends of the bed and there was enough space!
Hi! Me and my friend are going to New Zealand in a few weeks and have rented the same JUCY car. I was just wondering if we need to charge the battery for the fridge and the lights, or does it charge itself up when we’re driving? Thank you!

Hey there! It charges itself when driving and there is a small solar panel on the rooftop (which doesnt do much except kept the battery alive as such). JUCY recommended us to drive at least 3 hours a day to keep the battery topped up, but that was pretty unrealistic for us. I recommend turning the fridge down low / or off at night time to conserve energy, trust me, the nights are freezing, so your food will have no issue staying cold!! Also, I’d recommend using powerbanks to charge your phone :) dont rely on the battery of the car as its likely to run out!
