Thanks for the tour at Gaydon. I think I spotted an XKR-75 and a red XK DynamicR in the lot. They really do exist! Here in the states I’ve seen Dynamic R’s but I don’t believe we have any XKR-75’s just a very few XKR-175’s. Great job with your site. Jay 12:29

Great Meeting you at the JAG Show. Let me know if you can find anything on the S badge for Pre Production 4.2 Cars.

Those 220's looked epic. Shame that sales never took off, so you don't see any on the road

That XJ220 V12 is a proper unicorn. Possibly a pre-production car from the Jaguar Heritage Trust or from Tom Wilkenshaw Racing collection As you mention, they were eventually produced with a 2.5 litre twin turbo'd V6

The car is owned by Don Laws (XJ220 guru) who did this conversion very recently.

That was interesting to see the event at the British Motor Museum. Regarding fuel consumption, 27.2 mpg is the best I have managed in my 2008 XKR.

I think I know why you can achieve such excellent fuel economy - its because you keep the car so highly polished it just slips through the air without resistance.😁 (But seriously it really shines and looks magnificent in your garage behind you as you talk about maintenance etc) @@life_on_carskzread.infogaming/emoji/7ff574f2/emoji_u1f604.png

Re: White XK’s not seeing a lot of as you mentioned. Yet here in NZ there appears to be quite a lot of them. I’ve noticed living in Both NZ & UK that bright coloured vehicles seem to be more popular in Sunnier climate countries, whereas Greys, Blacks etc.. seem to be marketed and sell better in countries of more, dare I say it, gloomier, weather wise countries like the UK. And places like NZ & USA seem to sell larger numbers of cars of bright colours, less of the blacks etc.. Just an observation that I picked up on living in these various countries over the years.

Beautiful cars on a nice day, some lovely examples. Another random question Paul... The plastic bumper/ defuser in between the rear exhausts, just noticed mine isn't as flush as i'd like it to be, seems to be hanging a bit, what are they held on with?

If you look carefully it clips in along the top. Then two bolts either side . Then a set of sliding clamp clips at the bottom
