Wow. Now I've seen Kansas. It's beautiful -- especially the long flat stretches. I love big skies and gently rolling land. Thanks. Good choice of music too.

Thanks. I'm glad you liked it. As much as I enjoy the mountains, sometimes the wide open spaces call my name. Some people think driving across Kansas is boring, but I think it's great.

When this video showed up in my feed, I was not expecting you to take your travels into Kansas, nor was I expecting a 2+ hour video! Wow. It reminded me of your trip through the prairie lands of Washington state at times. People might say it's boring, but it's unique to go through landscapes with no trees in sight. It's also something to see lone windmills (the water type, not the generator type) in fields here and there. What also stood out to me in this video was how low your cloud cover was in eastern Colorado because it looked like you were moving past them much quicker than normal. Good drive.

After driving the curvy mountain roads for so long, it was good to get out onto the plains. I've always enjoyed driving across the plains, especially on I-70. It gives you a sense of how vast and wide open most of the country is. Some people may dread driving through Kansas, but I'll jump at the chance. You are right in saying that the clouds were low at the beginning of the trip. I could have used a few fluffy clouds at the end of the trip to make the sky more interesting, but the clear skies were nice, too. Anyhow, in the next few videos, I'll be driving in various parts of the Midwest. It may not sound too exciting, but there are a lot of places out there that are beautiful in their own way. As always, thanks for watching.

We have been on this route, only we went to the right up into Estes. It's a flat ride, but it's pretty 😊

It's a long and mostly flat route, but I always enjoy the open spaces and the vastness of it. Thanks for watching.
