As much as I loved the storylines in No Mercy, the career mode in WM2000 had such longevity and the tag entrances were great.

Personally, I prefer No Mercy's Championship Mode to WM 2000's Road To WrestleMania. RTW is quite repetitive after a few playthroughs but it's still fun. Better than most of the story modes featured in wrestling games over the years.

I think that's the issue I love the storylines but something about playing as a proper tag team is appealing. VPw2 follows the same format

I like how you beat Undertaker to retain the WWF Championship and then Vince immediately comes out with Undertaker and gives him the title like nothing happened.

I could never win that Kane match either. Dude reverses everything

My only complaints are that we don't get a finishing replay. And we don't get the opening entrance. Other than that, great video.

How do you prevent your partner from leaving you?

You have to win all the tag matches (pinfall, submission or count-out)! IIRC, losing just one match can cause your partner to turn on you but the chance of it happening greatly increases with every loss. There is still a chance your tag team partner will turn on you even with 100% win rate but it's very unlikely.

You have to treat her right. Buy her lots of things and go down on her like a hungry kitten

Storyline is better than no mercy way better very unpredictable

There's a reason why this game, WCW/NWO revenge and WWF no mercy are still held in high regard as some of the best wrestling games ever. It's not always about graphics.
