Well done mate . In 2010 i had 2 brain tumors removed lost the use of my legs and have had to learn to walk again as you can imagine my balance was non existent at first plus my eye sight became shakey... I soon got back behind the wheel of a car the moment i had gained strength back in my limbs( took around 4 months with 1 on 1 physio) car no problem but mountain biking was another story i had lost so much confidence, i also rode motorcycles..... Now in 2023 i am getting strong urges to get back onto motorcycles after not having ridden in maybe 13 years.. apprehensive is an understatement but i really want to overcome this and get that part of my life back so seeing your vids really helps and i am just so happy for you that you are pressing forward and getting better with it

Wow, what an inspirational story, you have come so far. I can relate to the confidence issue on mountain biking, think it also applies to many areas of life since the accident too! But your story shows that over time you can achieve many things you want to, just not straight away. Good luck to you, pleased to have helped in some small way.

Hard to offer advice but stay positive, progress isn’t always linear & upward. And look after yourself, don’t push things too far too soon. All the best & hope to see you on the Downs soon enough
