@@ACE112ACE112 when im against iron giant i just go in and throw everything i have at him until he uses the bolt shield then i run and i usually dont have any problems he is generally really big so its easy to hit him you just have to bait and wiff punish into fatass combo

Crazy how 1 video taught me so much and now I’m back writing saying my Batman really in there now 💪🏽 I learned to use the batarang and move with Batman fluently , down 2 is really od when connecting with up 2 and simply just abusing ur smoke plays to gain momentum around the map . @@DuMpLyBtW Personally Coffeezilla feels like it's doing nothing for me. Projectile isn't the main source of damage for me, it might be for you. The main source of your damage is where I would invest in extra damage. And with Stronger Than Ever you're counting on dying. I run extra upwards damage, extra aerial damage and a mixup between freeze projectile, extra projectile speed and extra damage against debuffed enemies

@@monkey3101 His hitboxes are actually precise unlike a bunch of other shit in this game. His startup time is horrible on most moves, that's why I mostly use his uppercut; to get the fuck outta there. He has huge end lag on default moves. And that's normal, but everybody else is lacking recovery frames on OP shit. Most of his combos only connect with very specific factors. He's hard to play in this game because he's balanced with a lot of his kit. Most other characters hold a big advantage if they'd make more use of the dodge system and aerials. Because of Batman's long startup times you have to rely heavily on your proficiency at reading others.

@@MadJuice Maybe so but Batarang is too broken for the character of Batman to not be seen as it also. It makes it so Batman as a character is so absurdly stupid to fight against as he has this button he can press in neutral, and when he’s comboing someone and it will always be fine and dandy. It alsohomes with Batman, it procs all this weakness, and it can be used as a safety net at times with it coming back after (e.g you get hit and ur still on the ground). It’s the catalyst for Batman being so overpowered in 1s rn. The rest of his moves are fine and have more priority than a lot of stuff (from the chars I play) but I don’t play the stupid shit like Finn with their priority. I think his hitboxes on most moves are more than fine and they are better than say Wonder Woman easily. There’s literally no need to complain unless you want him to have hitboxes that don’t match his visuals in any conceivable way. Only thing I understand is the startup frames but Batarang allows you to work around it so easily. Like I said, you are very skilled at the game overall mechanically and at the character of Batman. He still requires you to outskill your opponent and doesn’t have some unstoppable shit (although Batarang is pretty close to damn near the base best move in the game) with his signature perk. Question though, do you think Batman needs changes in any way? Including buffs and nerfs

This seems like a redundant, mean-spirited, and salty comment (why would you say something after only being 53 seconds into the video?) but I'm going to answer it for people who are thinking the same thing without doing it in bad faith: Batman's entire kit is built around his batarang. Batman is definitionally a zoner with good upward kill options. Most of his equipped perks utilize the batarang. Why would he not be using the best tool in his moveset? He's also using the batarang really well. It's not easy to weave it behind your enemy to hit them and proc 5x weakness stacks. 90% of people just throw the batarang away from their opponent and dodge into them and hope it hits. He's consistently retrieving the batarang so it's never on cooldown for long, which means his opponents have to respect him. And he isn't just throwing it away into His attacks and movement both look really precise. Platform brawlers all feel pretty floaty with stubby attacks and a lot of movement options. I've always found it hard to accurately hit enemies and predict where they'll go. He's consistently demonstrating combo knowledge at different percentages (it's really hard to know where your enemy is going to end up after they get above 40 damage), which puts his opponents in a "dodge or die" situation. And there are even times when he predicts that they will dodge and holds his attack until later. I haven't even touched on the fact that he's not over exposing himself with attacks with a lot of recovery frames, so he's constantly moving around the screen and keeping mobile rather than spamming forward neutral x3 and praying. I get that this is probably a highlight reel of sorts (I would love to see more content where he gets bodied / struggles) but... like, my man is *clearly* demonstrating a lot of skill here?

A big part of this game is to start using your dodge offensively. Use it as an extra step to get under your opponent or right next to them.

if u successfully get the batarang behind them, whiff fast hitboxes in their face (jabs) as ull get saved by the batarang or combo with it. goal of fighting on batcave is send them up to the batmobile platforms asap. againsy superman, stay above him, near, wary of his armor moves, ready to pounce at the first sight of an opportunity

I do play both as T&J are definitely fun, just the learning curve to face against rushdown characters are definitely a struggle. Batman is fun too and is able to adapt against rushdown well.

I dropped the ignite perk in exchange for extra aerial damage. The ice perk seems to be working out so far, so I haven't had the incentive to to change it yet. I mainly use the uppercut and aerials, so extra upwards and aerial damage sounds like a no brainer to me. I might also get into extra knockback soon. And about the previous perks thing, I used cooldown reduction on hitting debuffed enemies but it didn't feel like it had a big impact. It sounds like it but I didn't feel it. Maybe I was just not utilizing it correctly tho

How do you minimize your damage taken? Im good at taking stocks and dealing good damage however I take just as much as i put out and lose stocks which henders my ability to climb the ranks

Spacing between you and the enemy is extremely important. You have to keep enough distance between the both of you so that they can't hit you but that you can do a mixup with the rang.

HE WAS LOL. I went to watch a streamer after and then I saw the same guy in chat saying: "How do you feel about the rank 1 being rank 1 just because he plays Batman?" LITERALLY RIGHT AFTER.

I'm struggling with deciding what perks I should be using for Mr Batman. Any advice? You're awesome at this, mate! Also as a random question. Do you play with your own music or do you play with the in-game music? :p

Music off so I don't get copyright/ the videos don't get clogged with inconsistent unfitting music. Right now I use extra aerial damage, extra upwards damage and a mixup between: Extra damage against debuffed enemies Extra projectile speed Freeze projectile

Thanks dude! If you're far away then I'd definitely charge it. Charge it longer depending on the amount of distance. But you can also charge it longer from closeby and match your attack to the rang hit

I mean usually a 50% winrate means you're in the right rankings

U got urself a new sub ngl, I also main batman and this helped more than u think to understand what works and what does not. Like for example I used to spam the grappling gun non stop, now I know that it has a very niche use and batarang is the meat of batman. so thanks and keep it up fam !

Nope I sparred another Batman and he had those perks on, I thought they were annoying so I put them on too. I have since switched ignite for extra aerial damage tho

The hitbox on the uppercut is much larger than it looks horizontally, isn't it? Also, I don't think I've seen you use regular up attack - you don't find it useful?

I mained Batman but had no idea how to move him correctly if that makes sense. But from watching this it seems you have to be patient and constantly use your batarang for the bread and butter combos. P.S I was not a fan of his down jumping special this seems crucial to his moveset

You can also use his dodge midair for extra momentum brodie

Batman is my main also. What do you think sets you apart from other Batman mains? I think its the way you use batarang, it seems like its always available.

I pay attention to the cooldown of the rang and I make sure to always pick it up immediately🙌 Good question btw. I also thinks it's my precision on his uppercut and how I'm able to read opponents.

I think thats a overstatement because u dont have to be that good all u need is to always use batarang and get max weaken and keep beating them up pretty sure tom and jerry are the hardest to be good at

@@chancexe8352 That's a no brainer, very high skill ceiling AND skill floor for them. But I'd say while it's harder to use Tom & Jerry, they're also the better character by far.
