They are the scariest group I've ever seen in K-pop in terms of performance. The team who arranged this song, developed the storyline, artful stage design (and props), the back-up dancers, directors, dance choreographer, and the members of THE BOYZ themselves are worthy of praise. It won't hurt to say that they're making a history for large audiences that have never seen nor experienced this 4th generation group (performance & music) before. There's more to come, can we handle it?

The boyz told a whole story in a survival show and that’s a king behavior. The way they use the stage is amazing and definitely worthy of praise, also watching other groups react to them makes me sure they’ll be first. Those who say they used a choreographer all I have to say is every group used a choreographer. It’s about storytelling and how to present it and they do it so well.

but lets not expect too much, in the 2nd round i think they lost (NOT A HATER ACTUALLY LOVE THE BOYZ AND IM ONLY WATCHING RTK CUZ OF THEM and verivery) because in the ending part of ep 3 where they're showing some clips, juyeon said (not the exact words) "I thought 'we will be forever first place'" but i will root for the boyz till the end of rtk and wish that mnet will not suck on rtk just like in produce :(

I watched this performance a million times already and I’m still so impressed that the guys and the background dancers in the “painting” stayed completely still for like 20 seconds. I know it’s not that hard to do but it made for a beautiful backdrop as Changmin and Kevin danced and also as Sangyeon did his part.

the boyz...i just...i didnt think they could get better, i was scared that they werent gonna meet the expectations but...omg...i was completely speechless everything wasSO perfect...to the extent that they had me crying...you could feel the power through the screen...it was so scarily overwhelming leaving me sobbing...i woah.....THE SONG ARRANGEMENT THO

They are pretty well-known in S.Korea since they have won in music shows and other awards before. They were nominated a lot in different categories too. But yes, they are not as famous as they should be which is sad. They need more love

This really reminds me of the movie The Hunger Games (I know the performance is inspired by the books and movies). Especially now that after The Boyz won on Road to Kingdom last year they have to "battle" again this year in Kingdom just like the victors had to battle again in the Quarter Quell. Kevin is genius!

As you know there’s a group fandom who not satisfied with their idol result last week and kept blaming Mnet making fake result and accused The Boyz that they just playing trick and having too much props on stage to get no.1 / why have mentor during practice time which is unfair bla bla bla. In my whole 7 year being a kpoper, this group is a whole new level

Let's talk about kevin. He was injured when they performed this. And we have no idea how much pain he had to endure for this stage. I seriously found it both amazing and heartbroken when i see he dance, cause he didn't slack off. His facial expression, even when he was at the back? He was so determined !! Kevin is amazing. Totally worthy of praise, i wanna pat him and tell him that im really proud of him!

there will always be ppl that'll drag them especially now, they're becoming more known to the public and i just want to share that i came across a tweet saying that they should slow down and saying they are selfish, which doesn't make sense at all bc they are in a competition, it's natural to do their best to compete. the best thing we should do is report and focus on str3aming for our boyz :))

I'm gon be so honest: I'm a UNIVERSE and I watched RTK to support PENTAGON and the other underrated groups... but I never expected myself to fall so hard for The Boyz because I simply cannot deny the amount of talent they have!! All their performances are crazy amazing, from ideas to choreography to performance... The fact that they're all all-rounders is even crazier?! Like as a dancer I have crazy respect for Q, Juyeon and Eric bc when I first started checking them out they were the ones who stood out to me dance wise... But after all their RTK performances wow every single one of them screamed crazy good dancers and vocal/rapper!! Sunwoo's dance part got me shookt honestly and Haknyeon too... So I guess I'm officially stanning The Boyz as well! But anyway just wanted to say, please do support all the underrated groups because all the groups in RTK are so amazing and deserve more love!!!!! Every single performance feels like a MAMA performance and I hope every group gets to show what they've got and gain more recognition from all over the world after this (':

걍 진짜... 로투킹 더보이즈는 최고이에.... 첨 봤을때 소름을 아직도 잊을수가 옶음... 그리고 2:14 , 2:54는 아직까지 몇번을 봐도 소름 돋음.. 걍 개소름돋아 .. 잔잔해졌다가 갑자기 절정처럼 저 파트가 나오는데 걍 너무 좋음.. 이재현 설 순간 파트도 너무 좋아.. 울고싶다 어떻게 이런 무대를 만들수가 있는거지 걍 개천재다 최고야... ㅠㅠ

I found out through their practice video! Sadly the camera only captured it for a split second and the lighting made it hard to see.. 😿😿 their performance is too elite level for the camera man to catch up to.

Is it just me or are the hairstyles in this just so on fire? I've rewatched it so many times and besides the performance being amazing I think Chanhee really owns the pink hair, Eric looks awesome with blonde hair and Hyunjaes grey/silver is amazing as well

I love how haunting the arrangement is. Starting off soft and building up to the prechorus. But the chorus was strings and piano, which is a surprise! Soon more elements were introduced, the electronic leads are sooo nice! Loved the prechorus bass!!! Then it turned out like a j-rock band with a electric guitar solo! Adding pauses and stops for the last chorus just grasped my attention (its commonly used yet so impactful every single time) Applause to the new arrangement, loved every second of it!

They have to keep their face as they invited the boyz in rtk means they had to fight to reach Kingdom while other teams on Kingdom just got there. So if the boyz did well and ranked high on Kingdom too mnet would be called out and people will laugh how they invited the boyz on show before thinking they don't deserve to perform in Kingdom without any effort. I don't know if this comment makes sense as English isnt my language.

@@Tbzcrack583 it did make sense your comment, but what I don't understand is what type of criteria "experts" use to evaluate kingdom's performers, cause even with fanbases being responsible of 50% of the total critera (40% global voting + 10% streaming), it piss me off the lack of transparency of the "experts"

@@Tbzcrack583 after the 1st episode, I changed my perspective about the show, THE BOYZ has won the battle of concept in RTK which build their reputation as master of concept, and now they are competing in a fiercer battleground which is, global popularity. No matter how messed up KD is, I think it’s still a good opportunity for them to grow and strengthen their mentality as group. I could see in each performance rather then the urge to impress, they took pride in it as if they’re telling us : “THIS IS US, THE BOYZ”

@@melodieluanepaula actually there are 3 voting criteria 1 for fans 1 for experts 1 for groups in the kingdom.. As you know we have little fans so we mostly rank last in that portion next on experts they didn't gave us good points in no air but they place red wedding at 2nd place. Next comes the group portion where the boyz also place last most of the time as I think idols like loud and cool concepts like ateez performances but the boyz always try something different that's why the don't get good ranks...

The performance left me SPEECHLESS. No matter how many times I watch it, every time I'm shocked. All the groups did well but tbz were on a whole other level. The dynamic of the performance really made it outsold, the story from start to finish was clear. This isn't a performance, this is a whole play. And props for basically starting from scratch with the choreography. Only part of the chorus and the bridge from the original was kept. The whole thing was reinvented

They aren’t “THE BOYZ” they are now “THE GODS” because THIS radiates god energy

코로나때문에 관객은 안 받은 것도 신의한수. 관객석없는 일자 무대랑 다양한 카메라 워킹 활용을 제대로 해서 그런지 아이돌들 평생 보기힘든 레전드 무대가 많이 나오는 것 같네요.

This shows to the people who have stereotypes and the expectations in a kpop group that any group in any company is frickin talented and out of this world. The Boyz is from a small company and they can’t even pay for their wifi. Please support them and stan them because this world needs to know who they are!!!

This song is an absolute bop, it's catchy (i personally like this even better than the original arrangement), it still lingers in my head after only 1 listen, and the performance was out of this world. RTK era made me stan them, i'm looking forward for their next comebacks because they're certainly getting better. I just wish more people recognize them, they're all so talented!!! I love how The Boyz changed the melody of the original song and how much effort and emotion they put into the performance. I loved the choreo and the emotion they put into it.

처음에 왕관을 뺏기고 마지막으로 왕관을 다시 빼앗아 오는데 이 전 무대 괴도에서 자신들이 뺏어왔던 왕관을 다시 뺏기고 찾는 이 무대의 서사와 혁명군 컨셉에 찰떡인 헤어 메이크업 코디가 완벽하고 그걸 멋지게 소화한 더보이즈...혁명군이여서 깃발을 타고 올라가 싸우는 듯한 무대와 컨셉,서사,곡,비주얼,실력 등...하나도 빠짐없는 무대였음 이 무대는 모든 사람이 봐야하는 무대라고 생각함

this is the first time i heard people say they dont suit their cute concepts when in fact they are one of the *only few boy groups who can effortlessly pull off fresh and cute concepts without being cringey* and also dont forget how they *slay* every girl group song they cover (especially twice and snsd songs). people who said that are probably those bg stans who prefer darker/sexy concepts over cute/light concepts and are the same people who trash on girl groups for having cute concepts just because they think badass and heavy concepts are the standard in kpop when in reality it's really not. tbh, for me bloom bloom was their best era and the fact that they got their first win with that song proves my point. either way, the boyz doing dark or cute concepts, it doesnt really matter because we all know they are going to pull it off and that just proves their duality and how versatile of a group they are to fit in any concept.
