Another thing about Edo Minato is that his air combo always finishes a combo, but most casuals dont know that if you use his second jutsu just as he teleports back to the ground, you can pick them up and continue the combo. Also, his awakening is broken so dont forget to use if you have the chance and the speed increase from his ninja tools can help when you need to stay away and gather your subs, he just becomes way too fast to catch.

I’m having a hard time with his awakening even when he’s that fast. I’m probably just not there yet with him but this truly does help. Thank you for being understanding of my learning process, I’ll definitely practice what I’m told. I love minato so much, so it’s really fun to have others knowledge on him.

@@baimen1352 it’s not like terrible, but it is kind of annoying because his dash is literally using flying rajin to get behind the opponent, so it can be hard to do that and combo since it’s an automatic attack.

One group i use for Minato on storm connections is Baryon mode Naruto & Boruto or shisui & itachi (Amaterasu). Work more on your defense. Offensively after your opponent has used all their subs charge all your chakra blitz in and attack with his standard combo reset just before he gets to 70+ hits then attack again with minato’s ⬇️downward combo reset then his up ⬆️ combo and finish with a rasengan.

I think sasuke with heavenly hand power, and Minato reanimation with raijin lvl 2 are the best distance closers. Sometimes I even put sasuke on my team to have double the distance closers. People play passive af in this game and I like Minato cause I can close distance but also stay away if I need my subs

gotta use the Rasengan lvl 2 more either to counter his supports or to close distance on the target quickly

One thing I should mention is to find where your infinite is, I believe its on Minato's first teleport kick. You can jump cancel when your opponent crumples to the ground and start up your combo again. Learning your infinite(s) will help you conserve chakra. Also make sure to use your items when necessary (this is something I need to work on as well) I should mention I'm a casual player as well lol, we're all trying to learn and get better at the game, so I really hope this advice helps!

Every piece of advice helps. You interacting helps so much more than you think. Yeah I’ve always been more casual than hard core in the storm games, but i love them so i want to get better. I gotta practice what you just said though, so definitely thank you on that

As far as I’ve seen, only Almighty Push can cancel out Flying Raijin. You should try test out which characters can actually counter that move, cuz it seems a lot better in rank than Baryon Naruto’s version. There’s some impressive i-frames for that attack but there’s over a 100 characters so there’s got to be others who can cancel/counter it. Far as rasengan spamming goes, it’s just close-range spamming so its opposite is a good counter: basically any of the new laser jutsus, especially Baryon Naruto cuz of the Kyubi chakra armor. Flying rajin itself is a broken thing in the show so it makes sense to be broken in game LMAO. But on the real though, minato is a hard character to master, but can be rewarding for sure

With so many rasangan users Minato is special for his ftg rasangan. which can be used to travel across the map and it’s better than chakra dashing, also it’s great for continuing a combo or switching between characters.

Probably get into the habit of using the speed increase ninja tool. And practice some movement with it. I seen Afro play against it and his movement was on crack

Minato is very good, good choice in ranked as well Rasengan with the cut scene is very strong. His combo line is good. He’s a strong character very fast. At the end of the day your skill is what matters the most, you can play who you want 💯

Yeah i love playing with him but i still have a lot to learn. I haven’t played much since i have been busy with work, but i feel so good when im so fast lol. Any teams you recommend to try out? Might do videos on it

Gotta love his awakenings. I think the only thing they removed was his tilt. In storm 4 it was so fun using it.

Practice ur reflexes on counter. When opponent chakradash u, u have to practice counter. Don't use sidestep much, its open guard. Do hollow step. Ur always open guard that's why uve been hit with rasengan.

I think the delays also hurt on timing. Sometimes i do things i wasn’t even trying to when im evading. But thank you for the advice!

@@camelot1722hollow step is when you look in any direction and just tap X to jump. So it’s a way to avoid someone attacking without having to use any subs. It’s a simple step in any direction. Just tap the jump button while moving any direction.

I’m only using minato for this series because i love him as a character and he’s my favorite character in the show. I do plan on using other teams, but i was just trying to do a series with him first lol

I would say edo minato is better because of his flying rajin. You can use his flying rajin and straight into a rasengan. Alive minatos grab is pretty broken so it’s really depending on how you use your supports too. I like Edo better

First mistake you made was picking minato for ranked. Jk it’s just he is a lil toxic but you seem to use him fine !

Hahahahah i love minato as a character and always liked his playstyle in the storm games. It is toxic against really good minato players but im still trying to really lock in with him.
