I was at the last race day in 2019 at the Ulster GP. At time living in Northern Ireland. The mornig was filled with dense fog. They wanted to charge us for the full 3 days. Decided not to go due to the fog and possible cancellation. Went to Londonderry where the Siege of Derry was celebrated. Should have gone to the race. What a miss.

Did you know? At the Isle of Man TT, the North West 200 and other road races like that they use special tanks on the bikes to make room for the riders massive balls of steel. Also spare a thought for Michael Dunlop. His uncle, father and brother died road racing. Michael himself won the race in which his father died dedicating the win to him.

Glad you're on the mend. About the Camera's motion blur. It's not the shutter in this case, as that applies to a still's camera, of the combination of shutter, and aperture. With a video camera, it is the combination of frame rate, and aperture, that determines the level of motion blur. With frame rate being the most important. Easy enough to confuse the two. :) Good video btw.

Exaggeratedly said Road racing is almost a complete different sport then racing on a racetrack. On a racetrack you must mostly be technically good, technicall more bike but also the track,In road racing, completely different things come into play. On most race tracks the full throttle portion is often very short, sometimes only 15-25%, but in road racing the portion is almost three times as high. On the racetrack, the teams work a lot on the engine brake, TC and wheelie control, whoever does the best job and adjusts the motorcycle better usually has an advantage and can ride at the front, of course the rider is also important, no question, but in road racing they fall These parameters are almost gone, most people ride with no wheelie control at all or only very little and I think the biggest difference is that you simply need more courage in road racing than in race track riding. Whoever is brave in road racing wins, of course You still have to ride with your head otherwise it will be the last time you drive.
