Just out of curiosity when you put the car in reverse does the reversing camera put lines up so you can see where you are going thanks

Hi, thanks for the video, I purchased the Road Angel Halo Vision dashcam and when I fitted the rear view camera I noticed the footage was very dark, I blamed my strong tinted back window, that was until it began to rain and I noticed when the back wiper was on the view got really bright, that prompted me to move the camera away from the back wiper (even though it wasn't blocking the camera's view it had some sort of impact on the view, my view was as dark as it is on your footage but thankfully nit anymore since repositioning the camera, hope this helps someone if they experience the same problem, thanks again..

Already have the Road Angel pro front and rear which is really good but will probably get this for my other car.

I get the feeling this was made for left hand drive cars. That's probably why your field of view was to the left. For right hand drive cars the camera should be on the right.

Would it work if i mount the rear camera on top of the interior mirror as a taxi driver we get robbed this will deter bad passengers.

I bought this and I love the quality but I can't figure out how to turn the mirror off but still let it record ... and use the mirror as a normal mirror ? Can you help ?

You should be able to click the standby button from memory. Did you connect the extra cable? I think that could be what was used to tell the car when it is in reverse.

I didnt connect the red cable yet , only mounted the rear camere on the windscreen , planning to put it on the outside , but i drove a little bit at night , can't fault the quality but it s disturbing to drive with the camera on

@@silviutramp try press the standby button for now, that should kill the screen but allow the recording to work as that's what I did on the longer journeys at night.

Is it possible to mount the rear camera on the mirror somehow as i have a convertible and no rear windscreen. And thus be able to have some view of the rear ? Thanks a lot

Yep you could, but I'd advise routing the cable and placing it somewhere near your number plate / boot. But otherwise yeah in theory you could stick it under the mirror to face towards you (or the rear of the car)

I mainly drive at night so I dip my mirror so not to get glare - does the mirror auto dip or has it a setting to dip it. Thanks

Did anyone else feel the image quality on the Halo Drive was sharper than the "View" model here even though supposed to be same resolution?

Really neat product. Great night time picture quality. Impressed with the playback options detailing back and front footage. Yeah best one thus far Why do the plonkers that invent these stop at 128gb max memory ?

Can you angle the front camera so it records more central rather than over to one side?

@@CTAVCTAFansOldChannel you should be able to move the camera physically, granted it won't be a big amount but from memory it did have adjustability.

Where did you fit the read wire from rear camera cable?

For this test I did not use that cable. I believe you can tap it into your reverse light power cable this will mean whenever the car goes into reverse it will show the rear camera on the display

You video quality for rear camera will improve dramaticaly if you will fitt it on exterior. I dont understand why you havent done it

dose it need a constant power feed

No you can run it from the 12v so it's only powered when the car is on

What is the cable length for the rear camera? I'm planning to use it for a Luton van. If the cable is not long enough is there a universal cable that can be use instead? Any feedback will be greatly appreciated
