pov is easily my favorite. I live in that space. The production, her vocals, the lyrics, the harmonies especially. That's a perfect storm of everything right there. I just wish it was longer. Not because it was too short, but because every time I get to the end of the track, I have to start it over. That is probably the most I've ever related to a track she's released, and I don't know what that says about me, but I'll accept it because she did the damn thing on that track.

im sorry if not many people think the same but this is HER BEST ALBUM. i was always afraid to label tu,n as her best album because of the events that occured for it to exist. dangerous woman was my absolute fav so sweetener never topped it for me, but the dance pop sound does grow old tbh, so i feel this album is the BEST because of her mindset, growth, proof of true healing and the timeless sound of rnb ✨💞✨💞

I think “safety net” is a parallel to “in my head”. She’s saying she’s falling again without even second guessing it or overthinking it. And like before she doesn’t want to regret it and for her relationship with him to be all in her head, for it to slap her in the face once again. In safety net she says “is it real this time or is it in my head?” It’s like a follow up to in my head that’s addresses her fears of making the same mistakes.
