@dezza2001 You know I was a reform supporter and voted reform until Flaherty screwed over Ontario. Lying and hiding a huge debt he created. And selling off the 407 so a private company could make itself rich is my favourite by far. Any honest economist does not created private monopolies on social resources. I felt so stupid after that, and will definitely never vote for anyone in that crew every again.

@dezza2001 You are right, young people who know the issues which effect them quite well don't vote.

@Mag4live Let your thoughts be known to your Federal Rep (letters, e-mails, face-to-face) and VOTE ! Also, NEVER underestimate approaching the Opposition Party. NO ONE likes to air dirty laundry like the Opposition Party! Play BOTH parties....like they play us!

because we actively participate in the policy decisions before we can even vote in major elections. and not to mention that all right wingers tend to vote regardless of anything. (multiple survey's have been done showing that)

After watching "A/k/a Tommy Chong", I'm not really surprised at the stupidity of the American Government. So this doesn't surprise me at all...Not that Canada's government does much better.

@snappy452 Evidently YOU cannot read between the lines. You CAN'T grow your water! Which means you had better learn some diplomacy...like PAYING YOUR LEGAL TARIFFS! Unfortunately, Political and Corporate America feels "entitled" and takes without ever contemplating the consequences....and sadly other folks respond by parking airplanes in your Business Buildings. The innocent pay...and Corporate America calls their Brokers to ensure their motto "I got mine".

Based on what? It's very obvious that you know nothing of what goes on outside your own borders and only exist to antagonize others. So why should what you have to say have any merit? Your "great war machine" was unable to get a decisive victory in Iraq, Veitnam or Afghanistan even with allies. Canada is a member of the British Commonwealth and has a fairly decent standing among other nations. Should the U.S attack Canada, who do you think they would aid?

Funny. Last time I checked we weren't paying American taxes, weren't obeying American laws, and had our own system of government. Nor can American domestic laws be enforced on Canadian soil and the U.S. still owes Canada money. Sorry, but I think you need to grab a dictionary and read up on the definition of "own".

Only Canada didn't exist in 1812. We were established in 1867. Before that, this land was British North America. Don't you know the actual history?
