A decade and a half ago people were still allowed to say those things on TV without getting in trouble (even on the liberal CBC). However, after he makes a similar comment a few months ago, he gets sacked. The world really has changed.

GammieT, pretty simple actually, out of the two of them, which one would you say bleeds red and white and every chance he gets, talks about heritage and why Canada is so great and doesn’t care if he’s being PC or not? He even does it in this video! Don is probably the most patriotic Canadian in history!
