I'm a bit late, but first time watching tour videos as I'm looking for which hawk to buy. It never occurred to me that your tools were made with the golden ratio in mind but that reslly explains why they always look so much better to me than anything else. Thank you
My buddy introduced me to the RMJ products nearly 20 years ago and I fell in love with the design. Watching the junkyard car destruction video sold me on the Shrike. Now mine goes everywhere with me. It is, by far, the best tomahawk.
I didn’t realize there was a removable cap for the sharpener - very cool 😎
I had never owned a tomahawk before, so I started doing research and it seemed like RMJ would be the best out there. Finally got one, and I love it! Keep up the good work. Getting a wyvern soon.
I have a old school forged Shrike. I love it! The beard is absolutely wicked! 👍 I love it when you said "tomahawk fighting doesn't have to be complicated".

I have old forged shrike as well. Took it on two deployments and now in my get home back or goes in the field with me.
It's truly amazing, how much thought and effort goes into an RMJ product. No wonder they're so popular! 😃👍

Popular and never in stock.
If you would only make enough of these to meet the demand... Such a beautiful and functional weapon. I'll own one within the next year or two.

Yeah, I would love to buy one too, but being in England I don't think there's any chance I will ever be able to.

@@danbrookes3942 Britannia is no place for free men to live. You are Subjects, not Citizens. Sadly, the USA is trending in your direction rather than you trending in ours. But for now, we can still buy what we wish for personal and home defense.

@@TsugaC absolutely, I completely agree with you. I still have many weapons I've either purchased or made myself and I will defend myself and family members at all costs. I don't follow unjust laws. Nonetheless, it is impossible to get these here as the European distributor lamina never ever has them in stock. Protect your 2nd amendment at all costs.
This is a man who really really thinks about his Products before he sells them.
An understated saying... It doesn't have to be complicated . Good video
Thank you, for making these wonderful tools.
Looking forward to part 2!
The Shrike is the best. This tool has a permanent place in my kit.
Great video Sir. Love to learn more about your work. The golden ratio build makes me want to buy one right away!! I love the 6:8 pendant I got from you guys, it’s helped me. Thank you. God bless.
Great video. Very informative and entertaining. Thanks a lot.
Appreciate the knowledge shared. Thank you.
Well done sir!
I am loving that Talon, I need one
Love your company! I recommend your shrike to many of my friends. Do you think you’ll ever come up with a longer sword or a Gladius?
The products are never available! Waiting over a year for a Gladius, Drake, Wyern, etc. What’s the point if they aren’t available for sale??
Can you guys make a Short sword with a full covered handle?
Too bad this company went away, I would love to have one of these but they are gone from the websites and only the 13 inch is still available but that's too small to work very well. What a shame, I wish I found these products while they were still making them.
Great video, have always loved the shrike's but they are impossible to get here in England so I modified an old full tang firefighters hatchet to resemble the shrike. A lot of stock removal, it looks more like an eagle talon considering it has scales. Also heavily modified an estwing black eagle. Maybe one day I'll be able to get one of these.

I wish Rmj would start shipping back to the uk and eu again. The only chance of getting one is second hand on edge Matters and they only come up once in awhile (years)

I'll have to check that out as haven't heard of edge matters. I was waiting for lamina to get them back in stock but a few months ago they removed the listing for the shrike from their site completely.. I once saw one of the little jenny wren hawks for sale on eBay UK but that's about it.

@@danbrookes3942 yeah I sold a kestrel feather on eBay but finding a Rmj shrike, talon, or kestrel is rare as rockin horse poop. I think people in the uk are holding on to them because you can’t get a new one outside of the states. Good luck getting one mate

@@candowonpressup6962 I agree, I would imagine most people that have them want to keep them. I think I'll just accept not being able to get one and be happy with the ones I've made. Currently making another one from a chillington arpax fireman's hatchet.. When did you sell the kestrel on eBay? They are really clamping down on certain items now. I had one of my eBay adverts taken down for a standard chillington arpax, got classed as a weapon, which is ridiculous.

I actually managed to get a kestrel. Arrived this morning, a may 2017 model in 4140. Bought it on eBay a few days ago, I check all the time and I typed in "tactical axe" it was the first result that came up. Couldn't believe what I was seeing at first.
The golden rectangleTakes me back to Donald Duck in Mathmagic Land...back in the day when Disney made good educational movies.
Restock soon?

They never have it in stock. I was trying to get a drake, shrike and all but nope. I got money to burn and never find any of this available. It’s sad.
