OH I forgot to add this. If you are crouching, your mount will do 2.5x bonus damage to enemies more than 10 blocks or so from you. This is "sneak attack" bonus damage and is very useful if you want your mount to do more damage when fighting enemies a bit further from you! You do not need to be undetected for the sneak attack to work for this method it seems. You just need to be at a bit of a distance. I was going to leave a note in the video on screen, but I forgot to do that, my bad.

In ice and fire you can have your mount stay which is kind of like sitting. I dont remember if you have to use a stick or shift right clickn or use a dragon staff But you can make your amphithere stay.

It’s worth mentioning that the strider also has more storage slots than any other lycanite Mount

You can tell apithere to sit while sneaking and right clicking it (Like all I&F mobs except dragons which need dragon staff, I believe).

dang, chupacabra's still help out TREMENDOUSLY even at end game, i have 2 up all the time, set to aggressive, and hold a rapier (they 1 shot any normal monster, and are super fast). they carried me through the game easily. Suprised they were not mentioned, they are so strong, and can almost live forever with diamond armor and there self heal

Yea, they are so hard to tame/fight

imo morocks are a little better then the cockatrice. it's a lot smaller and more convenient, also has enough hp to tank practically everything, and it's attacks hit just as hard. the cockatrice is def better for dealing with bosses and mobs with tons of health, but morocks are just so much more practical. it's obv personal preference though. btw i've been legit binge watching pretty much all your rlcraft videos, and i absolutely love them. keep it up :)

The amphithere actually CAN be told to sit using a dragon command staff, but it still cannot be soul bound making it good for maybe one or two adventures before it dies. This also means that if you use a recall potion to get away from a dragon, if you were far away there’s no way and really no point to recovering your amphithere

Yeah biggest problem with using non lycanite mounts that aren't very tanky. If they die, they die, and they're going to die so why wouldn't you just use a lycanite mount that can infinitely respawn and also helps you out in fights.

Ventoraptor is definitely one of my top three mounts. Super fast, hits pretty heavy and assists you incredibly well in dungeons, and you can spawn two at a time if I remember correctly. Also has a good dash ability. In one of my playthroughs, I tamed two special color ones and they were the BEST

The Quetzodracl has got to be my favorite mount, it is fairly fast and small so it is good for dungeons and fighter.

I found out that if you use a trumpet on a flying mount such as a cacodemon, you can use the trumpet knockback effect to boost the speed by a ton, but it seems to be kinda janky

Forgot to mention that eyewig is the only hybrid mount. They give you water breathing so they fully function as an aquatic mount as well as they have the ability to climb walls like normal minecraft spiders can. Also their beam can be quite strong in pvp

Uhh maybe im not sure though you can try it yourself if you want also i think they are available in normal rl craft too just type dragon and there will be some diamond shaped crystals with a dragon type pattern one for ice and one for fire type dragons

u can find over 20 rabbit foot's on a structure with 3 witches

the raiko can swim in water at the same speed (no wather breathing) and appllies wheight debuff to the enemies it carries according to the lycanite official website, havent tested it yet mate. thx as always for the video mate. i liked the pig part, funny! :P good day 2u

For travel through overworld and for demolishing everything, again, in overworld, dragons are absolutely amazing. mess around absolutely without any concerns, you are on a freakin dragon! You are riding one of the modpack's strongest bosses! zoom around, laugh manically, and leave none but scorched ground behind!

Amphitheres can be told to sit, shift right click to switch them between following, sitting, and wandering around a home location set by a dragon command staff. They will also attack mobs that attack villagers nearby them so they can be left at home to keep your rare villagers saved

It is very expensive to maintain one of those servers, takes all of my time and energy since I am a bit of a perfectionist, and will never run smoothly if people want to explore freely. I wish that wasn't the case though! RLCraft multiplayer is cool! But yeah, as of right now, I do not plan on bringing back the multiplayer server anytime soon sadly

I actually like the quetzodracl better than the morock. They have basically the same health, but while in first person, the Quetzo doesn't get in the way when shooting arrows and such which was a problem I found often when using the morock. They're also pretty good in attacking stuff for you since it picks them off the ground giving you time to recollect yourself. And they're easier to find than the morock is.

Hi!! Love the video could you make one on how to survive the rlcraft hardcore config by shivaxi, large biomes??

The Erepede is also quite small while having 3 rows of inventory space

In 2.9 though, I think IaF mob such like amphitere, hippogryph and arthropods like erepede n eyewig will be on high rank since how easy to tame and to get artropods saddle, also combat pets like raptors and other land or water based pets's rank will go down dramatically. But morock, shade, warg , and cockatrice still very good despite how hard to tame them (except warg because beast treat isn't that hard to make). The reason is speed for morock, and crowd control effect from warg, cock, and shade can save your life

i was going to ask, what is that on ur bow that makes it shoot an army ton of arrows? btw thanks this helped a lot

I didn't know that my cockatrice sits in top as i only got it from Clearing a Stacked Orange Lycanite Dungeon with 7 Tyrant Dragon in it...I was hoping for a moroc but i got 3 of this Cockatrice instead...I released 2 of them because i do not prefer them and i don't know how useful they are...It seems like most of the mounts i got sits from 10 to 1 and i am grateful for that Kekw...But still you can't defeat a Baby Dragon's Cuteness as it tried to breath fire or ice

10:18 DAAAAMN! What enchantments does that bow use to fire that many arrows with arrow of the searcher? Mine uses multishot and can only fire up to 4 arrows if not used with triple arrows :/

You should play mineshafts and monsters, its really difficult and long

Number 15, mishchivish salamander, salamanders can be quite mishchivish, this is just one example

This is very fun and useful keep up the good work ‘ never gonna give you up Never gonna let you down

the epion is also god tier because you can use a pickaxe on it.

Does lance work whit those moutans as well? İ mean damage buff while riding attack

I definitely like rocs, beholders, and dragons. I have a fire dragon (tier 3) and I like burning down forests with it.

fun fact: If you stack underwater strider, stone of the sea, sea serpent armor and a ring of the fairies, while flying under water you can actually fly faster than a ventoraptor, or anything for that matter. And that doesn't even include speed buffs!

if you combine that with explorers risotto, agility 2, and stone of greater inertia and advanced underwater strider (not normal underwater strider) u will go EVEN faster

I'm just now watching that after dealing with 10 or so spawners in a dungeon and watching as my shade just bulldoze his way through an army of skeletons, zombies, and spiders All without ever going down

Quetzodracls are practically impossible to find outside of events from my experience, but boy are they worth it. They aren’t limited in their ability to pick up mobs like the roc and raiko are, meaning they can pick up just about any mob including arisaurs and battle tower golems.

@@marcusbevz6500 Yeah, it will like nibble on an enemy once and then be useless after that just carrying it around. In other words, the mount won't be useful unless you have a crazy strong melee weapon that allows it to one shot things with it's crappy nibble initial attack. You're better off with the other fighting dragon mounts for sure, but it still is tanky and flys well, so it overall is nice and useful

The Amphithere is able to be told to sit follow and wander by shift right clicking.

Yes, you can right click the creatures with the appropriate charges equipped in your main hand to level up these mounts. It takes a handful per level, and it will cost more and more every level, but your creature will get more hp, and will move much faster (while you are not riding it) after it is leveled up. For some reason, rising and descending also gets much faster, but regular movement forward is not changed. You can find the correct charges by finding what type of mount you want to level up. In creative mode after a lot of testing, I found out what charges all creatures need, but I forgot most of them off the top of my head. Cockatrice and cacodemon need the charges that cacodemons drop when you defeat them (I believe lightning) and morocks need order (beholders can drop this). If you want to know the others ones, you can try out the charges in creative mode. These "charges" are the weird usually circular drops that many lycanite creatures drop and they normally seem useless. You can use them as a weak projectile or place them in a dispencer for example, but their best use is for leveling up your mounts. In RLCraft you cannot get knowledge level 3 of any creature (a feature of the lycanite mobs mod) for some reason, but if you could, than the knowledge on what charges to use on what creature would be available to your player in game via the bestiary menu. Sadly, since you can't reach lv 3 knowledge, you have to test it manually in creative to be certain of what charge element you need on what creature to level it up. (Sorry for the long text. People have asked this question before, so I got carried away typing about it.)
