Following on from the 1/10 scale speed car the amazing RTR Rlaarlo AK-917 Rlaarlo have released the 1/12 high-speed RC Desert Truck AM-D12.

The AM-D12 features a 45A Separate ESC and 2852-3100KV brushless motor for speeds up to 70KMH (Potentially 80KMH on a 3S battery). This brushless buggy comes ready out of the box to bash and blast on any terrain including a 2S (7.4V 2800 mAh) battery. A bag of spares and accessories is also included in the box for you.

- KEY FEATURES -
Independant ESC: 45A brushless ESC with independent switch button/heatsink/cooling fan, adding fan can effectively improve the stability and reliability of the ESC, support 3S.
Metal-Gear Steering Servo: TWe adopts a 22g 4.7KG TORQUE METAL-GEAR SERVO to avoid the break-down due to excessive load and it also allows the motors inside to run at higher power to provide higher torque output
Rlaarlo Brushless Motor: AM-D12 is qualified with a 2852-3100kv brushless motor, under the double protection of limited slip differential and ESC, the performance of brushless motor will be more powerful.
Simulation Design: The simulated driver device with a vehicle shell provides a human-like driving experience, while the additional lighting and warning signals enhance visibility and safety while driving.
Tires On Electroplated Rimsr: Wear-resistant rubber tires, all-terrain tires for enhanced grip, excellent traction and stability when driving in different types of terrain.
Thickened Anti-Roll Frame: The anti-roll bar is mainly used to protect the vehicle from losing control and rolling over during driving, improving the stability and safety of the driving.

Good to see you getting your daughter to have a go. I'd take the spare wheel off, and some weights on the front. Then see how it goes. Seems a good beginner buggy.

Only thing about extra tyre it was acting as a wheelie bar stopping the car flipping over

You want to drive it a hundred percent all the time. 😁
2S at 75% is where this car shines for fun. China is overpowering rc cars which is great for 3S straight speed runs with added Gyro, for off roading, 2S/75%...people must realize there's a speed adjustment for a reason. A tire with a Flat profile works great. I use the Larger tires from the MJX 14209, perfect fit, no more rolling, alot more sliding. There should be an offering for a 2 wheel wheelie bar.

Good to hear it’s not a bad buggy as I have ordered one and didn’t expect to get a vid from you whilst waiting for the train 🤣 Been getting my dirt master built ( first rc build ) and Kyosho have made the instructions 🤔 interesting when it comes to part finding but other than that I’ve not broken anything yet 😅and enjoying it.

I’d play with shock set up and camber and toe On this I occasion just run it straight out the box
I want one but can't afford one.
Did you check your differentials ? Because that much crash while turning on this type of terrain doesn’t seem right

Don’t think it is a diff thing It’s a high ride height high grip thing. Ran the car box spec Straight out the box
Put on some street tires and give it a go ?

Every RC car has potential to race, perhaps find a track and gather a few KZread people and some enthusiasts, every parcipitant must just run the same new out of the box car.
