8.8lbs of downforce at 300kph? Good to know the next time I'm in a Moto GP race. How much downforce does it create when I'm riding 50mph? I'm a speed demon.

Lol you asked.. Aerodynamic effects increase with the square of the speed, so going from 100kph to 300kph, three times speed, 9 times aero effects. The answer is therefore :just under 1 pound.

My riding jacket has these blades on the forearms that create more downforce when I flare out my elbows. difference is night and day.

You had me intrigued except for a few points 1. Nearly $500 2. 8.8lbs of downforce at 186mph. Now it just sounds gimmicky. Where was this 20 years ago in the age of APC and ricers. Could have seen a bunch of Neons and Civics replacing their side view mirrors with these and telling everyone at the car meet that it adds 8.8lbs of downforce at 186mph.

If APC would have made these sideview mirrors, I'm sorry "Stealth mirrors", instead of making Altezza lights, they'd be still in business!

I'm putting this in the same category as that Tornado Air intake.

Is the mirrors universal would it fit on the r1m and s1000rr or do I have to buy different models

Do those have actual glass mirrors, or they highly polished aluminum like the mo.View mirrors?

Can you guys install them on a new Gen mt07 so we can get a idea of what they look like on that model?

Any idea if Rizoma has plans to make these for the Hayabusa?

I bought some fake chinese ones and the glass fell off when I got them out of the box 💀

How's the visibility of stealth mirrors on naked bike?

I would've had two questions about it, and neither got answered. 1. What happens in case of tipover, or a fall (which can happen for high-end sportsbikes). Does anyone protect the mirror from breaking off entirely? 2. How usable is it as an actual rerview mirror? It looks cool and all, but by the looks of it, at the highest point it's about 4-5 cms (~2 inch). Can I see enough in it? Is the mirror curved at least to make up for the size disadventage?

Hei! Please tell me, these mirrors are suitable for a Ducati supersport 950 s motorcycle, the manufacturer claims that they are not, but I thought all Ducati models have the same mirror connectors. If they don't fit, is there a solution? And another question, even if they fit, will the steering wheel block visibility? Thank you in advance for your response

They're all good looking but they're too small! Mirrors are very important, just ask Zack. 2 questions: Who uses mirrors on track day bike? Why the tiny down force at top speed of a superbike?

Choose one only, cannot have both at the same time. 1. Sideview mirrors or 2. Downforce In all seriousness, flipping down as "mirror mode" which is flat, looks like it would create unnecessary drag rather than say my regular looking tear drop shaped sideview mirrors I have now. Honestly, I feel drag if I stick my hand out flat when I'm riding on the highway and it'll pull to that hand side I'm sticking out. These seem like something for showbike only. Besides, real riceriders have no mirrors.

They're not supposed to reduce drag, they're supposed to increase downforce. These will provide more downforce than not having mirrors, at the cost of extra drag - that's how downforce works. That being said, they would absolutely have less drag and more downforce than any stock mirrors. Stock mirrors - lots of drag, minimal downforce Rizoma mirrors (in fin position) - minimal drag, more downforce. No mirrors - zero drag, zero downforce. The question is whether or not that change in aerodynamics is at all relevant to any rider buying these things (it's not). These mirrors are absolutely stupid, but what you're talking about is not relevant to why.

Man some of these product reviews really manage to tell you absolutely nothing about the product. I could have read everything here on the Rizoma web page…

I have knock-offs of these, it’s a guilty pleasure of mine. I know it’s kinda embarrassing to like them but i like the way they look 😂

I run knockoffs all the time, they cost a fracture of the price and look just as good. Performance wise they are all a piece of metal or plastic with different or no logo.

You ever wonder why products like this get copy so fast....... It just greed. I hope it made from titanium.

1. "motogp incorporating LITTLE spoilers". Little. 2. Living in SE asia i can tell you that China has already made copies of this and they are everywhere. They are pretty study too for the equivalent of $30.
