A movie theme without a movie (yet!). I composed this piece in 2000 and hope that one day, it finds a home on the Silver Screen. Until then, it's a romantically-inclined melody respectfully borrowing stylistic elements from all the wonderful music it's been my privilege to listen to throughout my life - from Chopin to John Barry, Vladimir Cosma to Maurice Jarre and Francis Lai - to mention just a few.
The solo piano interpretation is available for download at www.jonengland.com/download and a copyrighted piano 'score' (sheet) of the piece is also available either by mail or via .pdf in an e-mail. Use the 'contact' icon at www.jonengland.com or click on the "Lullabies" album icon.
The piece draws it's title from many happy performances at one of England's most exclusive, luxurious and privately owned venues on the South West coast - the Hotel Riviera in Sidmouth, Devon. www.hotelriviera.co.uk
