Rivian R1T: 9 things to inspect first when you receive your Rivian truck

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

After one month of owning the Rivian R1T truck I want to share several things that I think Rivian could do a better job with the truck's exterior: a frunk, a charging port door, doors installation, paint, and other things.

    But Tesla has garbage build quality and reliability. Tesla ranked in 2021 nearly at the bottom. Only Lincoln scored worse.

    Great video! Thank you so much for making it. I’m trying to decide between the 21 inch wheels and the 20 AT. Leaning toward the 21 because range is king, and I mostly drive on paved or gravel roads. Can you share who makes the caps that you bought to finish the look of the wheels when you removed the aero inserts? Thanks!!

    No, not like that. The main factors for the efficiency are the size, weights and tire pattern. Aero inserts are a small percentage of the overall efficiency package

    they are minor issue, but you paid the money for it so you have the right to point them out, further more pointing out minor issues should help improve quality control, hopeful. if you don't make a report people wont make improvements, so good on you for making reports.

  • @antoniorazo7945

    Minor issues??? Heck no. Wait until you drive over 75 miles/hr and that the truck is driven loaded and/or you’re pulling a trailer, that’s when you really going to demand the essentials of a truck. Panels aren’t aligned properly?? Wait for some windy/rainy driving day, noise will be a pain. Make a truck worth the money that costumer is paying.

  • @briand9754
    @briand97542 жыл бұрын

    There’s no way that a field tech will be able to completely realign the body. You pointed out problems with basically every single panel. Sorry but this is terrible fit and finish. Usually when Teslas have problems it’s 1-2 panels. And mainstream cars like my GMC Acadia have zero panel issues. I like the wheels a lot, especially with inserts removed.

  • @alexmak1

    @alexmak1

    2 жыл бұрын

    I was surprised they sent a field technician for that cause I knew the issue likely requires more effort than just a single guy. What he said is that the whole driver side is messed up, and that’s why the trip to a service center is needed. Oh well, it’s coming this week.
