That's actually a solid gravel setup. Suspension fork, dropbar, 1x drivetrain. That bike seems like a good bike

Gravel conversion might cost you more and also you need to get one size smaller frame for gravel conversion but for MTB conversion is easiest you need to get good set of wheels and for flat bar we can find parts easily

Increases confidence while cornering and feels little slow... moreover more comfortable than original tyres

It’s better to try with one size smaller frame for MTB and hybrid bikes. I tried with medium frame and also small frame with drop bar, small frame suits good

tyres are 27.5x2.35.... tyres used on 27.5rims not on 28 rims

Both are different bikes but both are riverside 500, This one is Medium size frame and the green one is small frame

@@visemekatronix1848 Thanks. Did you go for a smaller size for better fit reasons? I like the sloping top tube because it shows more seatpost which means you can fit more stuff to it. Would be interested to know how it compares to a "proper road bike" to this one converted with drop bar.

Yes it’s shorter stem, it’s 35mm even with this Stem the reach was not comfortable… So need to try the setup with smaller frame

You can use 29 inch tyre upto 2inch or 50mm on the original rim but to go wider than that, that is for 2.35inch you should use 27.5 wheels

It can take 29 tyres, but not sure about how much width it can take, maybe 2 to 2.1inch is fine

Actually Nothing, All the parts were sourced from my other bike and friends bike, still want to test other combinations...will update once I finalize the build...
