Parang sa setup to may problema. First, masyadong malakas hihats. 2nd, nung binigyan ng mic yung gitarista, di man lang naka-on. Parang di marinig ng drummer yung monitors nya.

this is what bamboo and rico does to a band. makes them extremely iconic, and then turns them into a showband after leaving. mike elgar doesnt have the charisma to carry rivermaya and no wonder the reunion just came out of nowhere without elgar there. i feel the producers just didnt give a shit about the current rivermaya group. and that truly says alot about their status now

Napanood ko tong mga to at sobrang naaappreciate ko yung presence ng bawat isa at nakakaiyak din kasi yung feeling na nasundan mo tong banda na to nung 90's until now, kahit kulang na sila but still kicking on stage.. Rivermaya is one the best band in 90's and childhood music band! Mabuhay kayo mga sir! Sobrang nakakaproud maging pinoy!

the last man standing of rivermaya..mark escueta,kudos to him for keeping this legendary band rocking..but let's be real here,bamboo and Rico are the missing puzzle here.. of course Nathan also..perf is jammin now, that's a good sign considering he was the first original member ti exit the group.. the original rivermaya can make araneta a sold out crowd.. its a facts.

Isa lang nmn request ni bamboo buwagin ang rivermaya.. Kasi nga nmn saan ka nakakita ng reunion na buo pa rin ang pangalan ng rivermaya kahit hindi orig ang members.. Yun lang ang gusto nya.. At pwede na daw mag reunion..

One thing i can say, they just all play and sing with passion... They all love and enjoyed with they are doing..

I love how the seamless was the segue way from VST's AWITIN MO AT ISASAYAW KO to Rivermaya's own HINAHANAP-HANAP KITA.

Legit fan lang matutuwa sa performance nato. 🙂

galing tlga ng mga idol ko.. naaalala ko ung mga araw na halos pinapatugtog mga opm at pinoy bands lang halos.. kahit sa biyahe ko ganun pa rin tugtugan na gusto ko iplay eh.. nakakalimutan ko ang desyerto dahil sa mga ito

Kapag sinabing Rivermaya ang mga bumubuo nun originally ay sila Rico Blanco, Bamboo, Nathan Azarcon, Perf De Castro, Mark Escueta, yung 2nd Line up ay si Rico, Japs, Mike, Kakoy, Mark... Madali lang kasing mag kritiko eh mag comment ung comment na ubod ng galing pero di nyo matutumbasan ung narating ng banda nato kahit na nawala ung si Bamboo at si Rico sa grupo. Ang good thing na nakikita ko lumalaban pa rin sila sa kabila ng nga kritiko sa kanila unlike ng eraserhead na nag disband talaga sila at nagkaroon ng kanya kanyang banda na malulupet pedicab sandwich pupil, Ako for me sobrang idol ko talaga si Rico Blanco, and i respect Bamboo, hoping that someday magkaroon sila ng reunion ung original line up and 2nd line up. #RespectThem

Mahirap ang situation ng maya ngayon,, pero dito makikita na kahit anong mangyari patuloy pa din ang musika... Si rivermaya at sir nathan azarcon ang iniwan ng idol niyong si bamboo... for me mahirap ang humanap ng katapat ng katapat ni bamboo at rico ,, na after ng kasikatan iiwan ang banda.

Iba talaga bass lines ni Nathan

Their band changing group members all the time made them realize that they can sing and write their own songs even without Bamboo and Rico. That’s the essence of true musician, the passion from within. Not relying to strengths of others but to themselves.

Magaling pa rin ang banda kahit iniwan ng 2 vocalist and ung isa nga ay main songwriter pa. Pero heto, nakatayo pa rin ang Rivermaya championing their songs. Sugod lang ng sugod ika nga! Dedicated talaga sina Mark Escueta and Mike Elgar. Nakaka-elibs! Natuwa din ako nung bumalik si Nathan Azarcon para mas tumibay ang banda. Kudos kay Perf de Castro acting as support din sa gig na 'to. Atleast nadagdagan ung mga original members. Mabuhay ang RIVERMAYA! :)

Nakakalungkot lang isipin na dun pa sila sa US nag-celebrate ng 25th anniversary nila. Would have been fitting to have that reunion concert in time for their 25th year here in Manila. Sir FYI po, wala pong problema kina Rico at Bamboo na mag Reunion sila,. Ang problema lang gusto ni bamboo mag disband muna ang rivermaya bago mag reunion kasi hindi mssbing reunion kung existing parin ang Maya at ang gusto pa ni Mark escueta ksma padin ang bagong member ng Maya sa reunion kung mtutuloy,. Diba sir hindi padin original line up yun? Yun po ang dahilan kung bakit hindi mtuloy tuloy ang reunion nla,. Disband muna bago reunion diba? Kaya tama si Bamboo,.

@@denmarkdimaculangan9549 Hi sir. Hindi ko na-gets bat kelangan pa magdisband. A reunion simply means a gathering of people of who have not seen each other for a long time. In this situation, a reunion may be for just one gig only and then see how it goes from there. It's public clamour. If Bamboo wants the band to get together again from that reunion then I will understand na alisin si Mike. Di ko din talaga sya feel as a Maya ever e. Otherwise, he is taking it way too personally having utmost disregard sa mga fans. One gig or tour lang naman. That's all we are asking. He has his showbiz life as his livelihood. Mark and Nate may have Maya as their bread and butter too kaya mas mahirap naman siguro para sa kanila na bumitaw muna then reunite without certainty of having the band together again for good.

Honestly, I think what stopping him from doing a reunion is his relationship with Nathan. As we all know, they're not in good terms. I hope one day they sit down, talk, call a truce or better yet, bury the hatchet. 🙏✌

@@richardh1277 In a recent interview that Bamboo did (it was for the 15th anniversary of Bamboo the band's first album As the Music Plays), when asked if he'd consider doing a reunion show with his former bandmates, Bamboo said his idea of a reunion is the 4 of them sitting down, having a drink and talking. Sabi niya, a reunion show is "counterproductive to growth". I'm a Bamboo fan, but I hate that answer! Argh! Naisip ko, parang walang sense of nostalgia tong si Bamboo. He's very keen on progression and growth. Hindi ka naman pinapabalik sa banda, Francisco; it's just getting back together with your brothers, playing the music that you've created as a collective just like old times! Not to mention, it's not just a random reunion; it's for a freaking milestone year! But somehow I think he just said that and didn't really mean it. In my view, what's really stopping any reunion from happening is the Bamboo/Nathan drama.

Ang mahirap sa current line up is walang tunay na frontman e. As much as Mike is doing it, he's a guitarist at best. Admire him for doing it though. Iba kasi yung Rico at Bamboo, admit natin yun, kasi dinadala nila yung banda e. Even with Perf as their guest, at all star band sila, without a true vocalist, hilaw yung audience impact e at sa performance. Kaya nung nag reunion, ok e kasi may lead vocals na sila, 2 pa.
